Grim Fandango. Finally, after hearing about this game for so many years, I thought I should give it a try. After a while I got it working on my PC. Yay. But I'm stuck at the petrified forest. Damn puzzle games. XP

But sadly I cant remember jack about it to help lol I think the Wii should get stuff like that, after all, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis is an unlockable in the forthcoming Wii game.

I need to play HotD: Overkill. Almost bought it once but opted for the other Sega publish M rated game for the Wii, Madworld. Madworld did not disappoint, in fact it's fantastic.
Playing the FUCK out of Street Fighter IV lately. Practicing, and the new Championship Mode Update went live, so I've been busy.
Also between bouts of WoW PVP, I thought I'd try out Guild Wars. It's fun, not nearly as good as WoW, but it's still fun, and it's free to play, so I can play both.

Been playing Resident Evil 5 a lot. I LOVE this game. Finally beat it in under 5 hours, so I got the infinite Rocket Launcher!

Just bought a new ps3 because my old 60gb died (YLoD) so now i have a new 80gb and when i picked it up i also bought Killzone 2 because that is one of the games i was dying to play when my ps3 died. I even had it preordered at best buy but had to cancel the preorder to get my money back when the ps3 died...anyways now that, that is out of the way
...i am currently playing killzone 2...just beat single player this morning...and it was pretty damn good...IMO not as epic as MGS4 but still damn good.
i will probably be playing online with this one for awhile because from what i have heard the multiplayer is where this game truly shines

Valkyria Chronicles, a game of strategic awesomes, made by the same team that did Skies of Arcadia. Even has Vyse and Aika as squad members.

I have the demo, and it seems great, but... I'm scared it's too hard for me. I'm not good at strategical thinking. :/ I find it to be surprisingly forgiving. You can save and load constantly during a battle using the "System" option in the in-battle command menu so that you can "redo a move" as much as you want and anytime outside of battle. There aren't any punishments or drawbacks to doing so, which is nice. I've found that even if you have a squad member fall, the game allows you 3 turns to send another member to them (who will call the medic), then you can just recruit that member on the next turn from any base. The fallen member will be considered "dead" if an enemy reaches them first, but they mostly just ignore fallen squad members, so it's not as harsh as you might think. In the case of leaders (Rosie, Largo, and Alicia), they just "retreat" instead if they fall, unable to be used for that battle, only to be ready to be used in the next battle. It has a great story and I would highly recommend buying it and the strategy guide from Brady Games. Aside from a few slight layout and grammar problems, the guide's really pretty good, especially since it doesn't have spoilers of the story for you, something I hate that some guides do. I just recently got past a "Wow, I can't believe that just happened" moment in the storyline, a twist I certainly didn't expect, and am liking the game more for it.

I've never even seen an official guide for a game with my own eyes, let alone would I buy one the second I buy the game. I find people who play games with guides (from the start) kind of... lame. (No offense.) Anywhoo, I might try it out a bit. I just need to find someone close to borrow it for a day or two... >_>

I've picked up a few over the years, normaly for those Big RPG's, but i don't use them untill i get stuck, or want to know how much longer the games going for. Hell, i've bought Japanese strategy guides because they have some neat artwork in them (i can't read japanese, but i've probably looked at my Kingdom Hearts II and Shadow of the Colossus guides more then the english ones i have). Valkyria Chronicles is a excelent game. I've been slowly playing through it for a few months now. I love it. It can be difficult at times (Mission 7 seemed impossible to me at one point, i got a game over pretty quickly the first time i played it, only to complete it with ease the next time i tried it.) I'm a little over half way at the moment. Also Playing Eternal Sonata again, i took it out to finish Resident Evil 5 the other month and just never got around to playing it again. Damn shame, cause i really like the game. Have to level up my characters though. Also... regretably, i pick up Naruto : Ultimate Ninja Storm. Its not a bad game, but i hate the freakin Battle Conditions in the games fights. You can wipe the floor with the enemy most of the time, but you can still have to redo the fight because you don't meet requirements during the battle, like Finish the opponent using a certain attack, or perform a certain skill a certain number of times in the battle, or have your life/chakra bars at least half full by the end of the battle. I downloaded all the DLC befor starting the game, i'm thinking that might have effected the mission choices i have from the start of the game to. Might help if i delete my data and start again. I need to get a bigger HDD for my PS3, i'm starting to have to delete games i'm not playing at the moment to make room for others i am.

I bought Madworld, Ghost Squad and Disaster : Day of Crisis, and I only spent £35! I love me a bargain.
Disaster is a bit different, Ghost Squad is good solid lightgun fodder fun with 2 players and Madworld is awesome awesome awesome. Is it just me or does Black Baron channel the spirit of Jazz? Sure sounds like it to me.

you've never seen a Strategy Guide? Over here on the gloomy Balkans you're lucky if you have the money to buy an original game (as in 'not-pirate'). Heck, even find one you want to have as an original. It took me 2 frickin' years to find FFXII. (Thankfully, I can shop online now.) Strategy guides are non-existent. As are arcades, DDR, gaming competitions (and even when there are some, they are shoddy at best), cosplay, gaming/otaku conventions, etc. That makes me very, very sad sometimes.
