Join the Herd (amazing MLP FiM fan song) Last Friday Night (I don't usually like cool people songs but this one makes me feel happy) Cried Like a Baby (Bobby Sherman, never has anything so lame and wimpy sounded so happy and awesome) Night of Seclusion (Crisis Core, most romantic music I've ever heard) Tactics Ogre The Night Music 01 (like a gba pirates of the carribean theme) Smile Like You Mean It (The Killers) Giggle at the Ghostly Norwegian (the most amazing thing I've ever heard)
I think I've only just recently been really getting into music.

Death - Crystal Mountain Opeth - Burden (Forgot how much the Watershed album kicks ass.) Opeth - Bleak (Kinda strange to hear this song again when playing back to back with Burden. Difference is like night and day. Still my favorite song Opeth has ever created.)
Going back and listening to Opeth's albums before they signed with Roadrunner Records...man. Their new material isn't too bad really, some of it, like Watershed is even actually pretty damn good. But man, the older material from them was so killer, felt like it had so much more emotion poured into it.
The instrumental breakdown in the middle of Bleak is fucking genius, complete with some stunning 12 string acoustic guitar work. (I'm too much of a guitar nerd to notice this by sound alone...) Blackwater Park was one of the turning points in my life however when transitioning into the progressive metal scene. I didn't even know it at the time. Also was a MAJOR source of inspiration of numerous projects and pieces of poetry I wrote around the time it released.
Still, they're still around and haven't even come close to selling out to the mainstream, not too many metal bands can say that, that have been around as long as Opeth, especially within their grouping of sub-genres. I'll give them that.

Fallen Angel from Panty & Stocking. I've never actually seen the show, but I love this song. It's so cool and chilled.
