PLEASE NOTE THIS THREAD CONTAINS UNMARKED SPOILERS
READ AT OWN RISKI stole this from imdb I'm not sure how to use spoiler tags so if someone could tell me I'd appreciate it. Whilst watching Pan's Labyrinth my mum ended up ruining the ending for me, twice. And I couldn't help but overhear a group of classmates discuss the ending of I Am Legend, completely ruining it for me.

You should read the book "I am Legend". It is awesome, short and the ending is different from the movie.

The Sixth Sense was spoiled by me, randomly, in the middle of a magazine article published only a few months after the film's release.

There are no spoiler tags in this forum (SHF, come back!)
And in what sense do you mean ruined?
The ending of Gran Torino was ruined by Eastwoods singing. It made it look like the car was possessed. Kinda ruined an amazing movie

^ good point. I don't think i've had a movie ruined for me by a spoilers relating to it.
I have had films ruined by experinces leading into a film, or during a film.
Like when i went to see Quantum of Solace, and the guy in front of me wouldn't put his phone down, so in the opening credits i told him "Put the fucking phone away or i'm going to throw it into the screen".
or the hype a film gets from critics and word of mouth, and then i find the film to be completly average *cough* Benjamin Button*cough*.

They may not be the kind yer used to, but they work for now at least.^^ (The usual blahblah [/ spoiler ] dealy) I have a mate who was HORRIBLE for spoiling movies.¬_¬ Usually when talking about movies he and his bf had recently seen, he would turn to me aaaaall excited and say something along the lines of "OMG ______ WAS AMAZING! At the end, pretty much everyone died, and the main character turned out to be a hermapheroditey bod who then turned out to be the bad guy AND and alien!! You should SOOO see this movie! ".......arg,....

Listen! *kills with fly swatter* I hated her. Anyway. Thanks for the spoiler tags. Much appreciated .....¬_¬; Cheers for that.....XD And yeah, sorry again for the delay in spoilertags everyone, i had trouble getting my head around how to make 'em work, for my brain is like some kind of fudgy ick when it comes to that kind of thing. On topic; I am getting increasingly narked at how movie trailers spoil things themselves these days.>_< I mean, with things like Friday the 13th sure, we KNOW that pretty much everyone will die, but i haven't even searched for anything about it and i am fairly sure that i already know the order and method of every b'stards demise in the damn thing already!! GNYARG!

^agreed , Trailers give away far too much now days. We'll, they have been for years i suppose. I don't think they should show anything from the second half of a movie in a trailer.
and yay for spoiler tags.

Well, it isn't a movie, but I was reading the last Harry Potter Book at my friends house, right? Right. And I was pretty far into it when she said "Have you gotten to the part where you find out Harry is the last horcrux? Eh, no. Now shut up. So I kept reading, and she ruins it once again by saying "Has Harry died and talked to Dumbledore yet? Yeah, that's my story.

Thanks for the OP edit Vaco, and yay for some form of spoiler tag! By the way you can include bad experiences whilst watching a film or aspects of a film that ruined it for you, that way everyone can contribute I really wanted to go and see Cloverfield but that experience was spoiled when a girl in my class shouted out OMG they were aliens I also had to suffer during Constantine thanks to an Asian couple who had a conversation throughout the entire film.

Alien 3, back in college. A colleague flat-out turns to us and goes: "- She dies inthe end."
