A random Friday the 13th film (Pick one.), and my friend goes, "Hey, those people having sex are gonna get killed." Spoiled it for me, ruined the whole thing. I kid, I kid.

I had a near miss a few years ago when the TV Times had a feature on the 10 Biggest TV Mysteries revealed, you know stuff like who shot JR, so Im just flicking through and open on a page near the end of the section which read "Who Killed Laura Palmer?".....sreamed and threw the mag across the shop.
My season 2 boxset was on its way at the time. Close call that one.
And when the last Harry Potter book came out my housemate was talking to his sister when he just said "oh yeah....and Snape kills Dumbledor", which she got dead arsey about until it clicked that was in a previous book.
Best Spoilerer ever? Homer Simpson coming out the Empire Strikes Back....

My yearly Saw tradition of seeing the last screening on Friday night was all but ruined for Saw V.
Two older women sat behind me and talked throughout the whole damn movie
Who's that? That's so and so. I thought they died in the last one. No, this is a flashback now Really, how can you tell? Cause so and so is in the background, and thus, still alive
Someone dropped a few F-bombs and that got them to shut up. Still, I can't stand people who talk during movies
Oh, and high school girls.
High school girls are fun. While in you're high school. In a movie theatre and THEY'RE drunk and won't SHUT THE HELL UP or sit the hell down you kinda want to knock them down a flight of stairs.
Opening night of Cloverfield a girl kept on screaming at every little thing and during the subway scene she actually ran up the aisle mildly screaming when the parasites appeared.
I rarely go to movie theatres on the weekend past 2pm anymore. I try to go during the week around noon when all the high schoolers are still in school

My boyfriend's sister has an annoying habit of telling you every single funny/interesting/scary/plot important point in a film she's seen, and then she nags you to watch it even though there's no need since you've just had a blow by blow account of it. >.< That's why I've stopped telling her which film or DVD I'm about to watch since there's a good chance she's already seen it and will start babbling on about each and every interesting scene. Occasionally it can be handy though if she goes to see a film that I'm contemplating seeing but don't now if it's any good, then I can ask her what it was like and it'll be the same as going there.
Usually it's games that get ruined for me, mostly as a result of reading the old SHF. XD The plot of SH3 was completely ruined when I read a theorising thread about it before it came out.

The last time I had an ending ruined for me, it was by some person I barely knew, a friend of somebody I hung out with. We were together with a few other people, talking about movies, when Shyamalan's The Village came up. Now, the trailers looked good, I hadn't heard any detailed reviews, and everybody else there knew I hadn't seen it so the only thing that was said was anywhere between "it sucked" to "it wasn't that bad". This girl, deciding to chime in, says, "Yeah, it's too bad it's all fake". She then goes off spouting information until she was told to knock it off. Good stuff. Even better when I still see the movie and find out she was right, so not only did I end up pissed at her, but now I was twice as pissed for wasting money watching a movie that let me down pretty well. Oh well, I guess.

Redemption, that's halarious. Well, Casablanca of course. I'd seen so many pardoies of the movie that I could almost follow it line for line. Glad I saw Wizard of Oz BEFORE all the parodies. Otherwise there'd be no reason to see the movie.

^ i could probably say the same for Citizen Kane. That film (Casablanca, Its a Wonderful Life and Psycho too) has become a part of pop culture. There still good films to see though. I actually still haven't seen Citizen cane, i've got to go out and look for a copy.

I Am Legend -It was pretty much ruined for me when everyone said the doc died and he got the serum to the "Alaska" of that movie. That and everyone whining about how they cried when his dog died. I still haven't seen it.
A little off topic though I unwittingly ruined SH3 for myself when I read Heather was Alessa. I didn't even realize it even used to be a surprise until long after I beat it. I didn't get the holy $#!t moment most of you prolly got... I hate when that happens. That's why I tend to avoid info on stuff I'm interested in (excluding release dates of course.)

Shutter Island was ruined for me. I don't know how much that changed my opinion of the movie, but I felt it was all style over substance. As another critic has said, it was all a bunch of red herrings before the real story was explained.
