I just watched Emersons acceptance speach, and it was kinda creepy. Just his tone and the delivery of it, what he said was fine. He'd be a blast at a Halloween party, he'll if we did Halloween in Aus, i'd probably go as him.

Picked up Season 5 yesterday on DVD. Watching the first Episode now, Had some trouble with it at first though, Every time i went to play 'because you left' i'd just get a blank screen. Had to turn of my region free software to get it to play. They've got this "ABC starter Kit" that you can watch befor the first episode, its narrated by the same lady that did the voice over for the Lost in 3:18, so its kinda funny because of her dead pan style. Might watch the whole series again from season 1, in the lead up to the final Season.
edit: Just read that there is going to be a break in season 6, because of the Olympics. God i hate the Olyimpics, bunch of people showing off in tight costumes. mumble mumble mumble.

Triple post?! Less then a month to go for the final season. I've come across some images and videos over recent days. Firstly, the ABC recap video with the Deadpan girl. Secondly, over at Damon Carlton and a Polar Bear, They've had some paintings going up that you Could (not any more though) get prints of. Some of the prints have even been said to have Hints and clues for the next season in them. Third, ABC cast promo photos. Suppose there's potential spoilers in here. Reguarding the Cast. Though it shouldn't be too suprising. Can't remember if i had a fourth.

its not airing here for another full week. So i'm downloading it. Got to remember to put up spoiler tags in discussion. edit: alright, spoiler tag time So much to process. The ep really packed alot into it. What the ash is for (keeping out Smokey/MiB), Revealed the Temple, A bit of Richards origins, Showed us the kids and Cyndie.
and everyone in Timeline 2 had new haircuts. We'll nearly everyone. Good to see they made a point of revealing Desmonds fate early on too. I'd been theorising he could have just died in the ocean in the new timeline. But his alive. wonder if he'll run into Libby(she gave him the boat remember), or maybe he's with her?
might add more later. tired.

That was awesome. @pac-White - Do you think that Juliet did a Charlotte? The coffee line before she died really reminded me of that. Also, when Hurley says his good bye to Sayid, Miles looks like hes trying to listen to something.
Poor pathetic John Locke, though I dont think we have seen the end of Original JL, the "Im sorry you had to see me like that" was AWESOME.
Highlight of the week? Its a tough call between Hurley using a gun, Locke and Boone having a chat or Sawyer booting Jack in the face. Roll on tuesday!

yeah, i definatly think juliet was talking to someone, and i don't doubt we'll see it later in timeline B. And i think that might be what miles was looking for with sayid. After all, he seemed to know that the bomb has worked to some capacity, Maybe instead of talking to the spirit, he's hearing there other self. He dosent seem to buy into Hurleys powers, hell, i don't know if i did untill Jacob confirmed it. I though he was just putting himself back inline subconciously.
I'm annoyed about what i know about the next episode. More specificly who its centric towards. But if they can keep the reveals up with the last two, i'll be happy.
Oh, and my highlight for the week? Hurley being more perceptive then we'd usualy give him credit for. He was at the top of his game this week, and actually pretty useful. Outside of running over some others at the end of season 3, i can't remember him being useful.

Read a nice little theory, well more of an observation, whatever has happened in the alternative timeline, Jacob has had no contact with the Losties. It pointed out that with Kate and the Marshall that when she made her escape she didnt think twice about leaving the case behind.
In the original timeline it contained the toy airplane from her friend, which was buried in the lunchbox that she tried to steal but Jacob paid for and Kate went through a hell of a lot to get that plane back again last time. Just wondering what effect Jack not meeting Jacob will have.
Anyway, with regards to tomorros episode and who it concerns, at least we are getting it out the way. Personally I cant wait to see Ricardus's flashback/flashforwad/flashsideways. [/spoilers]

And desmonds, or anything containing faraday. It migth sound like my blantant fanboyism of the characters coming through, but there are quite a few possibly implications for there characters in the new timeline. Like, i dunno, if widmore didn't make it off the island, there should be no Penny. No Penny could change Desmond dramaticly, and what if Widmore did get off the island, would Penny be raised knowing her big brother Daniel Faraday? Richard ordered for there leader to be taken to safety, could they have takken Eloise off the island for her safety, even just on a raft?
and i'm not so sure if jacob hasn't intervied in some respect in their lives. not 100% on the dates here, but its possible he should have been off island at the time of the bomb. Since people speculated that his touch brough sad pathetic john locke back from brink of death (you know, after he was thrown out of a high rise)

Looks like we are getting some sort of answers this season. the names, and the various survivors of 815 are candidates to replace Jacob? think i'm seeing how we might be able to get that final Jack John confrontation. If it were to happen in the crash-free universe.
interesting to see unlocke saying john's famous line.

Haven't posted on this thread yet, but I'm a big LOST fan and so I have a lot to talk about this new season, so I posted my thoughts so far... and there is a lot. Please bear with me... I can imagine Eloise and several other prominent members exiting the island as well as the children getting of the island, perhaps on that little boat from season 2, Or a daring seize of the sub, perhaps? This exodus would explain why we have seen Ethan and Ben (who was in the care of the Others at the time).
Desmond's appearance on the plane can explained too, seeing as how the island as sunk due to the hydrogen bomb going off, his boat never crashed into it. As Desmond is one of my favorite characters on the show, I want to know how his alternate path worked out for him. Was Penny ever born for him to fall in love with in the first place and if she was, did he go through with the race and win? Did he earn Widmore's respect? I doubt it, but it would be interesting it he had.
Loved the Locke episode this week, it really showed how pathetic his life was off the island and how much worse it could get if the plane hadn't crashed. But the said thing was how he mistreated and sort of shunned the help of the people who would have been with him on the island (Hurly, Rose, and Jack) and how he just gave up on miracles. That part almost made me cry to see him defeated like that and also to realize how important the island made him feel and what it meant to him fully. I had never really thought that much about how much it made Locke, Locke until this episode.
I also loved that the numbers have gotten an even deeper meaning in that they relate to the remaining candidates for Jacob's replacement. Responding to what Ilana said about Un-Locke (love that term BTW lol), that he is "recruiting", I see it as he is possibly trying to befriend Jacob's successors while keeping them ignorant to the importance of the job, like he did with Sawyer. Also it seems to me that when he asked Sawyer to leave the island with him, it revealed something about the dynamic between Jacob and Smokey. Not only can neither one kill the other, but from the last episode it seems like Smokey can't leave the island unless Jacob or his replacement comes with him.

Didn't know there WAS a LOST topic until now!!! omg LOST fans! *glee* lets see if I can work a spoiler tag.. This week's episode was interesting. It's make Jacob seem more and more real and yet more and more super natural. He was watching them, but with a magic mirror of sorts. I want to know who was at 108, on that dial, actually. I don't remember if the Smoke-Locke showed Sawyer that number. *had a migraine at the time*
Claire is interesting now. She and Sayid apparently both have "darkness" in them.. I'm fascinated by what that darkness is.
It's interesting seeing Jack with the son he could've had. I'm curious to see where these Flash Sideways go. Especially how every person who would have gone to the island meets up, even our new Japanese friend at the Temple.
and about last week: I want to know who Locke's father is. And if he's still WITH Locke and if he wasn't a con man this time, was Sawyer's father still driven to homicide/suicide? How did James grow up in this case?
Final Note: does the bomb going off mean that Miles dies in the Sideways reality? He was just a baby on the island. Was his mother able to leave before the bomb went off? And speaking of miles, they never really say how he got his power right? if they do, please refresh my memory o-o!

If you want the name for 108 degree's, i remember seeing it on the Lost wikia. It's not a name i recognized.
I've always found claire interesting, atleast more interesting then some characters (i hate kate, so i loved that brief moment where claire was ready to start hunting her down. i hope that happens still).
Chang had his wife and kids get off the island on the sub. Being born on the island might have something to do with his ability. I'm finding the events of the 'other' time just as interesting as the one we've been watching the last 6 years. i mean, there lives seem to be quite a bit different this time around. I mean, Jack has a son, and the son's pretty old, atleast 13 i think. Makes me think Sarah isn't the mother. Same with John, he has a relationship with his father now, and his engaged to be married. not to mention Desmond and Daniel. I really want to see where there stories are going in the new timeline.

Damn, shits going down on that island. Looks like we've got all the main cast who are on the island with one of the two factions at the moment. Though i'd say some of the people with 'Locke/Man in Black' are only there because it might not be safe to leave them (Jin and Kate).
I was sad to see the Dogan and the Translator go. They'ed proved (at least Dogan had) to be interesting characters. But there was a pretty great fight scene between Sayid and him.
starting to worry the remaining 10 or so episodes won't be enough. I want to know more about everything.
