Hey. Here it is: www.xboxygen.com/Medias/Images-Xbox-360/BioShock-2-scans-et-premieres-fuitesIt seems you'll play as a Big Daddy OR something similar. I'm already seeing some hate and people saying the game is terrible etc etc, but I just think is too soon? I mean, we don't even know the gameplay elements and why would it be terrible anyway? Anyway, the first game was great, I have high hopes for this one.

Thank you for the link! I like the new changes they're making - it still doesn't go too far from the original (which is good) and keeps it fresh (which is better). I also like the idea of Commies finding Rapture and trying to use it for their own gain - it'll be a nice twist. Big Sister looks damn fine as well. The co-op is a win-lose situation, though. As long as they don't make it absolutely necessary (like in RE5), then I'm fine with it. Heck, it might be cool if one gets to play a Big Daddy, and the other player gets to be a Little Sister harvesting ADAM and warn of danger while going "MR. BUBBLES!"

I haven't read anything about it yet. Just seen the pictures. And that's good. The less I know, the better, so I won't create any expectations.

From what i've read around (from the Game Informer article apparently), you'll be playing as the First Big Daddy. You can switch between the Drill and the Rivet gun, and still have accesse to plasmids. Instead of saving Little Sisters, you 'Adopt' them, and have to protect them while they gather Adam from bodies. Apparently the way you level up and use the plasmids will be different now too, i heard an example of using the wind/tornado plasmid and the fire one together, creating a flaming whirlwind.
There not alot to go on just yet, atleast not enough to make a decent judgement of the game. i kind of dislike the idea of being a big daddy, while i liked one of the rumours going around that was reported false (you'd play a detective who finds their way to Rapture while on the case of a missing girl, who's been taken by the Big Sister).

themightylebeau: this should be a Bioshock 2 thread, since we don't have one, yeah. I didn't post anything else because the forum seems so dead... I didn't even know if there were more people interested in it. But please, post stuff at will. I don't know if any new videos were released, I'll go take a look also.

I gave up on Bioshock 1. It just didn't interest me. Didn't touch it for a year. Just finished it a few days ago.
I was surprised how well the story was. The initial stages are kinda rough, maybe thats what turned me off to it, but later it becomes easier once the Research Camera is made available.
I'm fascinated by the idea of a city 6 miles under the ocean. One of the better IPs I have played.
I like the idea of playing as a Big Daddy, mainly just because you can go outside Rapture and now explore the seabed.
Not too excited about the multiplayer but thats just me

I'm kind of excited about Bioshock 2. I liked the first one well enough, but once I beat it once I was completely done with it and traded it in. I however am also fascinated by the idea of an underwater city. And yes, I love the idea of playing a big daddy.
I'll probably pick up the game.

I picked up the first game because it looked interesting and i figuered parent groups over here would try get the game taken off shelves (after all, you can 'harvesting' little girls in it). But that never happened. Quite like the visual style of it, but was dissapointed with some gameplay mechanics . Plasmids could have been alot cooler then they were, ultimately turning into a fancy gun. That looks to have changed a bit, since your meant to be able to combine plasmid attacks. Hope the story's good through out, the last third of the game sort of lost its weight and interest with me. Oh, and did anyone else get Metal Gear Solid flashbacks from the story?

I own the first game but have actually spent more time watching my best friend and his brothers play it at his house than actually playing it myself.

I remember watching this www.youtube.com/watch?v=_qZcPmBaUcMWAY before I even had an x360 and it just made my boil stir, after I finally acquired the acursed X, Bioshock was somewhere in the top of my "To get" list and I was certainly NOT dissapointed when I finally got it ... Bioshock2? Play as Big Daddy again? Or pretend to be big daddy again? Either way .... ME WANT

Good Gravy I FINALLY beat it on Survivor with no Vita Chambers. For how hard the initial stages were, I thought Fontaine would've been tougher I can understand why you traded it in, kingofdogs, it does offer zero replay once you beat it on the hardest setting. @pac I did get some MGS vibes cause of the great lengths Fontaine went to secure his 'ace in the hole'
