Yeah, and when I then played SH2 and James was in the "bug room" (I had seen the film before playing any of the games) I was SERIOUSLY freaked out!! And it's not that I hate bugs. They don't bother me at all. But a bug (or any other animal) with a human face? No way! So that's what I thought the bugs in the game would be like when I first played it.

I don't remember those. But I only played the game once all the way through.

The hummers? They had baby faces? They were so small I didn't notice. (checks big picture in strategy guide) Huh. They have long beaks but they don't seem to have faces much at all. (checks rest of guide but doesn't see anything else resembeling birds) Sorry, don't see what you mean.

Anything with a human face where it doesn't belong is creepy as hell to me, especially if it's a baby's face. It makes me wonder, though, what bugs with human faces might represent (assuming every creature in Silent Hill has to be a physical manifestation of someone's inner turmoil).

Always thought they kinda looked like birds from the back. The way they pointed was freaking scary.

Ohhhh, okay. I was thinking of the bird/bat things flying around the outside of the apartment building, but I couldn't remember them having baby faces.
Those two-faced things were supposed to represent the twins Walter murdered, weren't they? Yeah, they creeped me out, both because of the faces and also just because of their size.

Ahh, twin victims. Okay then. I thought it was creepy running around the circular area and then running into them. I always went kinda slow.

Yeah, that part was totally freaky! The way they were huge and pointed at you did it for me. Knowing at any second they might charge. I wonder if anyone has cosplayed them?...

Ooooh, cosplays that take two people sound interesting, probably takes a lot of cooperation. ...Not my strongest suit.
