[/li][li]Starcraft 2[/quote]With this game, I am pleased. The characters are heavily cliche in their own way, the story is told well, and the campaign is utterly amazing. I love every mission for its own unique reasons. The multiplayer is meh in comparison, unless you're competitive and don't mind the lack of units from the single player. The exception is the wide variety of possible custom games.

If it isn't just a rumor, I'm most looking forward to Etrian Odyssey IV for 3DS.
In terms of games definetely coming out, I'm most excited for Super Mario 3D Land.
I've also read some stuff that makes me very excited for Zelda: Skyward sword, even though I'm not the biggest Zelda fan. When the Wii drops to about 50 bucks and becomes worth it, SS will probably be one of the first games I'll buy for it.

Just a few more weeks until Saints Row: The Third and The King of Fighters XIII.

MechWarrior Online, I'm ready to climb into a mech just like the old days!
It should have more of the simulator feel of MW2 and 3, I can hardly wait!
If I hear "All systems nominal," I will probably sh@t pure nostalgia for a week.

MGS: HD Collection. MGS2/3 are some of my most favorite games of all time. Hopefully Konami did them right.

Etrian Odyssey IV's officially been announced for 3DS and Final Fantasy Type 0 is coming to America! Plus Monster Hunter games will come to both Vita and 3DS. Handhelds are where it's at right now for me.

I can't wait for SoulCalibur V. Hopefully it will be better than the disappointing number IV.

Looking forward to Tomb Raider next year. I don't mind being patient. It looks awesome. XD
Resident Evil 6 is a given.
The Secret World which comes out in June. That game has been in production for years... I really just want them to release it so it'll hold me until the the next TLJ installment. There hasn't been a sequel since Dreamfall....
Dead or Alive 5 actually looks pretty cool. Prior to, I've never taken much interest in the series due to the girls (I can't even even call them women) looking like girls and the super hardcore anime bull$#!t that makes it cliche beyond being mindless entertainment. I've always felt dummer after playing. Mostly the girls just looking like pieces of meat though. It's hard to take any of them seriously. So what makes this one different? It looks like it's toning down the stupid stuff and giving us some legit quality gaming with some nice concepts. The destructable background is cool, but will get old quickly. Hopefully it'll all come together and last longer than SCV did. I'm bored with it already.

I'm going to get SoulCalibur V when I get paid tomorrow, seen it going fairly cheap so I want to grab it whilst the deals hot.
I am also looking forward to the new Tomb Raider game. It's an essential item for my collection. At any rate, it looks better than the whole Guardian Of Light facade.

SCV is a rental for sure. Unless you're an online addict you won't get much out of it.

SCV is a rental for sure. Unless you're an online addict you won't get much out of it. Just don't understand how anyone into fighting games CANNOT buy them for their online offerings. Unless of course you're just into passing controllers around with your buddies. In which case SCV delivers there as well. Fighting Games are competitive, possibly the most competitive game genre there is in fact. The point is to fight other players, and if you're short of friends, online is where it's at. Buying a fighting game to play against the computer is most often a giant waste of money, because the meat of the games is being ignored in your purchasing decision. It's kind of like buying an MMO to play by yourself. That said...allow me to update my list. Silent Hill: Book of Memories (Vita) Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention (Vita) Diablo III (PC) Dragon's Dogma (PS3) Borderlands 2 (PS3) The Last of US (PS3) Guild Wars 2 (PC) Resident Evil 6 (PS3) Devil May Cry (PS3) Luigi's Mansion 2 (3DS) Persona 4 Arena (PS3) Hitman: Absolution (PS3) Aliens: Colonial Marines (PS3) Metro: Last Light (PS3/PC) Anarchy Reigns (PS3) Gravity Rush (Vita) Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch (PS3)

Final Fantasy Type 0, Etrian Odyssey IV, Persona 5
Otherwise, the future of gaming isn't exciting me.

Actually, I'm looking forward to plenty: Watch Dogs: I think this game looks pretty promising; it looks great and the whole hacking angle is interesting. DmC: While I still think they've butchered Dante's character design, the rest of this game looks pretty great. It may be the best monster design I've seen out of any DMC game, and the gameplay looks at least as fun as ever. Tekken Tag Tournament 2/Tekken x Street Fighter: I've just been a lifelong fan of this series; both of these games will be gimmicky but still hold the potential of fun for me. The Last of Us: For some reason Uncharted never really interested me, but this game looks like Uncharted's gritty fungal-zombie cousin. I'll definitely check it out. Beyond: Two souls: The Last of Us has an Ellen Page look-alike so this game went ahead and actually hired Ellen Page. The premise of this game is neat, I just hope it features a bit more interactive gameplay than Heavy Rain, which was never my kind of game. Assassin's Creed 3: The colonial America setting seems like a nice change of pace from the bustling cities and elaborate buildings of the previous games; plus, you know, pirate battles. SCV is a rental for sure. Unless you're an online addict you won't get much out of it. I just wanted to add that SCV was a MASSIVE disappointment. I rented it once and have no interest in doing it again. Word is Namco rushed development, which is a real shame.
