Hello fellas! I shall tell ya my sad story, but first of all, PLEASE DON'T AUTOMATICALLY BAN ME, I've been banned from 2 forums already just for mentioning this... But I'm not trying to screw anyone :/ seriously, you guys know me, I'm not even offering the deal as it is, I just wanna know what's the paranoia about... and my heart will break if I get banned from here (alright, I'm being melodramatic, but it would suck a bunch). OK, ready? I got 2 Xbox Live accounts (silver, unrelated to any xbox) with 6000 MP ready to use for a ridiculously small amount of money, don't ask me how the heck I did, since I'm kind of wary now of looking like a scammer, which I'm NOT! it was 100% legal. I used one already, and it worked perfectly... I got 3 games on demand off XBL marketplace, which I'm downloading still. The other one, I'd simply use it... but I had an idea... what if I could trade it for a 1 year gold subscription in XBL instead? "pure genious!" I thought at the time... but AH! woe is me, the minute I made the offer in the two Xbox forums I go to (well used to go to), I got banned!!!! hammered, derelicted, became a pariah! I mean... I understand it kinda looks like a scam... but I'm a legit user :/ and IT DOES work, why won't they just tell me to fuck off with my scary offer instead?? Does anyone know if there's a similar, known scam out there that ppl may be mistakenly relating my offer with? Again... please don't ban me!

RIGHT! I've been googling away (why TF didn't I googled it BEFORE it all happened? )... and it's obvious that this is, well not a scam, since it works, but as illegal and just as socially accepted as peeing in the President's Lawn. No wonder I got banned, and I even was naive enough to try and sell the other one... Be careful out there lads, althoguh I doubt anyone will be stupid enough to consider it. SHAME ON ME, at least I got them free so there was no money loss, but now I'm wary of what microsoft will say? I seriously dread having illegal stuff on ma 360 ¬¬, god, I feel like the STUPIDEST guy ever. Take this thread as a warning guys, don't risk your 360.

This thread seriously confused me because I have no clue about the Xbox system. But, since it's over with, I guess I'll just slide it under the dusty carpet.

Awes, ty mate, impaled creatures are teh wuv. SO yeah.... I was too embarrassed of this to actually want any real followup to it, and it was pretty quick to find out it was illegal, 'tis why I feel as silly as can be.
in case ya feel curious, just google "6000 mp ebay" ya'll see aaaaall those offers out there. Usually for 7 to 10 GBP (or 15 - 20 USD) ya can get 6000 mp... it does work, but you'd be risking your XBL subscription and possibly facing a console ban if Microsoft ever actually does something about it.
The catch is that those MP are bought with STOLEN or cloned credit cards (already made a small IP hunting and at least I can tell they're not american as they say), so the Microsoft doods actually do get their ill gotten riches, (6000 MP is about 75 dollars), while some poor sod in China gets a nasty surprise at the end of the month.
Ah well, if I didn't delete the thread was for the sake of information.

I didn't read your post in its entirety but what I did read sounds pretty retarded, you're offering an XboxLive I don't even care get a job so you can afford a real Gold account like the rest of us mugs.
