I don't suppose anybody's got an interest in this genre? I've recently gotten into it, myself, thanks to a friend and confusion over dnb. An example and personal favorite:

I like the sounds of dubstep, I've just found it tends not to have enough variety to it to really be a full on genre. It comes across as a bit of a fad in music if anything.
That said, it can sound very, very cool when done properly. I've liked what I've heard from Skrillex too. Hell, I've even heard he's shown up Deadmau5 as an opener before.
I think when the popularity dies down and all the kandy kids move onto to some other type of fad, some real new creativity of the sound will start to come out.
I also think people tend to hate on it way too easy. Like it's as 'hipsterish' to hate on it as it is to like it. So black and white!
I'm speaking from the way it is around here anyways. Could be a whole different world for you or anyone else on this forum~
