Not a movie I know, but thought it was worth bringing up for anyone not aware of it.

I'd have to say my favs are:
Batman Begins This movie was fantastic and used villains never used in a live movie and really captured a more realistic take on the Batman mythos. This is my No. 1 so far. The Dark Knight While it didn't capture the Joker in the Animated Series -it did capture the Joker as he was in the older comics when he was just a criminal mastermind. There were some nods to his habit of creating new villains as well. All in all though, I really like how they made him a believable character. The movie's pacing was perfect too. Mask of the Phantasm This is truly a great, great movie and I'm dissapointed that Nolan chose Catwoman over the Phantasm in The Dark Knight Rises... but whatever. I know Joker inevatably comes back after this movie, but I like the idea of the Phantasm killing him off. I really love Andrea Beaumont as a match for Bruce too. They were set to be married, but all this other mess comes up -Batman's on the run from the police and gangsters are turning to Joker for help... great, great stuff. Under the Red Hood Truly awesome. It took awhile to get used to the voice of Joker, but it grew on me. This is a must see for any comic fan whether you're a Batman fan or not. Batman It's classic... I actually like the Joker in this movie. It's so clear he just LOVES what he does. Batman had all his cool gadgets and stuff too. The artistic direction of this movie is unparalleled. The Animated Series even didn't quite capture it. Batman Returns When you thought the art couldn't get any better... it does. This movie was camp in some of its drama, but all in all, it was a great movie and I have no problem grabbin' some popcorn and watchin' it when it runs on AMC. Return of the Joker If anything, I love this movie for the verbal abuse Terry gives Joker at the end of the movie. Forever Nicole Kidman was great eye candy and Robin was actually done alright. The only issue I have with this movie is the costumes and the appeal to sexiness as opposed to the great atmosphere the movie had -but didn't take advantage of. I liked Jim Carrey as the Riddler too. "Caffiene'll kill ya!" LOL Batman & Robin Alica Silverstone... mmmm. Otherwise the only redeeming quality about this movie was Mr. Freeze for his campy dialogue.
BTW the Batman Live play looks really awesome. Thanks for sharing.

Out of all the movies, I'm going to go ahead and side with the Penguin. He was great in Returns, and could've fit in very well in Nolan's take. Him trying to take over the underworld with his dirty detective Riddler who slowly becomes his own problem, with an early five minute intro of Scarecrow teaming up with the Mad Hatter to get screwed over by Batman like it was nothing. Instead we get another love interest and a drug lord, which isn't too bad, I suppose.

Bane's "The Man Who Broke the Bat." I'm assuming that's why Nolan chose him in the Dark Knight Rises. Bruce is already questioning himself after the whole Joker and Two-Face incident. Bane's the freight train that crushes him. "Why do we fall Mr. Wayne? So we can learn to pick ourselves up." He'll fall alright. Batman looked like he was seeing double at the end of the teaser trailer. Nolan also said he thought it'd be hard to make the Penguin work in his world. Bane fit it better so... whatev. Honestly I'm a little dissapointed we'll never see a "Nolanized" Harley, Riddler, or Phantasm, but you can't have it all. I just hope Catwoman actually does something in this movie. All she ever does is stand around, do a few fancy tricks, and look pretty for the camera. I don't even know why I'm complaining... Nolan's never failed me before. I just don't like Catwoman though... ugh.

Batman's ass is too manly for me, Catwoman's ass on the otherhand is a different story entirely. I am starting a petition that demands that we see more of catwomen's ass in the upcomming film and any following installments of the franchise. After Schumacher's films it's only fair
