Here's a compilation of pictures I've gathered to create a wallpaper for the site. imageshack.us/g/808/alessagillespie.png/Identifiable parts of each picture are to be cropped (like The Butcher's legs or Cheryl's eyes) and put into the shards of glass on the glass picture so each shard reflects a different scene or character. The big ones being the most important of them of course. Fitting Robbie in would be tough though because he's creepy because he's never the focal point, but whatever. Here's my dilemma. I don't have the software to handle a task like this and I don't even know if it's viable as a wallpaper for the forum. So before I bug everyone I know on other forums I visit, what's the deal, yay or nay?

I guess alx would be the one to ask, since he is bit of a digi-art guru, did you try PM'ing him?

What you want to do is quite possible, and actually pretty simple... Use the polygonal lasso tool (or equivalent) to create the shards and then place them all together in a master image
Of course, to really make them look like shards of glass you'll have to get tricky but even that should be practical to do even with a mouse... Knock yourself out
