Turn Update As you explore you hear the speakers once again trying hard to work and produce consistent sound: What a bunch of fucking amateurs! How hard is it to fix a damn P.A. system? Jesus fucking Christ I swear ... what? Oh. *Ahem*
Dear horror enthusiasts, We are pleased to see that you are making progress in our little tour, But the rules of the game have changed a little because a new entity is now free! What is it I hear you ask? Don't worry your silly little heads about that, You will find out what it is first hand! We cordially invite you to come back to the main hall where you, once more, will see a new addition there! We don't want you dying on us prematurely so as a token of our good will, We have provided you with basic defense measures ... after all, The best defense is a good offense!
Jack, I swear to god you will be on toilet duty for this little prank of yours, if I ever ...The audio cuts out again. You once again come back to the main hall and notice, true to the audio, something new there. At first glance it seems to be the bus driver from before slumped down on the ground beside the table with the two liquids. As you approach the driver, however, you notice six knives embedded deep into his chest with a pool of dark, almost black, blood under the body. Out of curiosity you lift his hat to try and see his face but as you do so you realize that his face is just a mannequin head. Examining further you find out that his entire body is just a mannequin but whose blood is it then? Your eyes move to the side of the body and you see two empty vials tied together with twine and a note reading " Plain Jane" those were clearly addressed to her. Another empty vial rests not far to the other two with a note of its own reading " Cherry". Everyone receives a bloody knife (melee weapon) assuming they pull it out.The possessed has entered the game! From now on voting on who you think is possessed is open, send me your votes via PM (one vote per person per turn) and at the end of each turn the person who received the most votes will be assumed to be the possessed. Guess right and everyone receives beneficial effects but guess wrong and face the consequences! Red and blue liquids will help you find out who is possessed much easier (only one liquid can be consumed per turn but its effects last longer). Consumed vials of liquid can be refilled in the main area of the theater but remember that not all areas will give you access to refills! Cherry has found the key to the West Wing! A new area can now be explored! Walking out of the auditorium, Naz had to wonder if this wasn't all an elaborate hoax... But then, what would they have to gain from it? Not enough data for conclusion. And now apparently they were all to be armed now. While he didn't have any hard facts to back it up, he suspected that their odds of survival had just decreased by a very significant factor. However, that didn't stop him from helping himself to the most wicked looking knife in the lot
And then there was the matter of the liquid... Should he or shouldn't he experiment? Impossible to determine given that he knew neither the merits nor the consequences of that action. Of course, he also had no way of knowing the perils of ignoring the liquids, either
It was certainly a disturbing conundrum. Right now prudence seemed to dictate that he try to learn enough to make an informed decision as soon as possible. To that end wondered off into the west wing

Walking out the 5th with nothing but a confused looked and a thumping headache, the thought of what hell she just watched came over her. It is like they went through a worm hole and some how now gone back in time...
Speechless she almost didn't notice some bandages on the way out of the fifth, picking them up and back outside she notices the mess of what used to be the bus driver!
"Oh my god" Hitomi said with a stifle of shock and fear
Inadvertently she downs 1 vial of red and refills with the same before pulling out a knife out of the mess that was the bus driver, the pool of black liquid did make her think back to the american sci fi show x-files for some reason. Whilst all this unfolds the speakers crackle in to life again it seems like people are arguing over the narrative.
At the corner of her eye she spots the strange but buff lion like man moving nervously to the west wing she decides to follow but at a slower pace, that strange propaganda movie must of been on longer than she thought as she felt the pangs of a dead leg not that easy to move fast in a Kimono with one.

(OOC: Just woken up just over an hour ago and decided to finish this lengthy post I started the late night before that. ) As Ryan stands up from searching yet another auditorium seat, he notices the lights begin to fade as the familiar sound of an old-school style movie reel begins winding up inside the projectionist's booth, high up along the wall of the entrance of the auditorium. Inside the small square opening of the projector's window, lights flicker as something is about to be played on the screen. Sitting down in the seat nearest him, Ryan watches the screen, wishing that he had some popcorn handy and that this movie will be something interesting from the era of the theater, like Vincent Price's House of Wax or Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Instead, what comes on the screen is an old instruction video about safety and order in a laboratory environment, complete the light, sappy, carefree music familiar to the era. Ryan finds himself yawning as he sits through this tedium, until something peculiar begins to happen. The film begins to jump erratically, showing periodic clips of a stranger lab for split-seconds, as a strange circular black pattern keeps flashing over and over, like a "cigarette burn" reel change sign, but grossly overused. Ryan stands at the edge of his chair, bewildered and intrigued by what he is seeing, when suddenly the film returns to normal and shows several men in white lab coats standing in front of the camera. The seem to peer directly into Ryan's eyes as the begin to address the camera. "So now that the original instructional video is over you should notice that only several of you in the auditorium are awake, the rest have been induced with a sort of hypnosis, don't worry they will be fine once this video ends. The reason you and several others have not been hypnotized is because the following information is of top level security and only the select few, who we have deemed worthy, will know the truth behind this facility and the entire town. Truth is that while trying to create anti-matter for the current war we have instead created a window into another dimension. Obviously nothing like this has ever been done before and so we have contained this "incident", if you will, from public and, especially, the SS eyes and ears. From what we can tell so far this other dimension has life forms. They do not seem to be corporeal as far as we can tell but further testing of that dimension as well as trying to establish communication with said resident or residents of that place will be your job. You are not to talk about this with anyone besides your other work colleagues in the lower lab, not even your families. As far as they are concerned you will be working on various vaccines in the lab. Good luck and god bless our cause." The film then fades to black and is then abruptly shut off, the lights inside the auditorium returning to their former "brightness". Ryan slumps back into his chair, trying to figure out what the hell he had just seen, and how it applied to the current situation. If he had to judge, he believed what he watched was genuine. The film's age and look were identical to several videos of the same era, and not in a satirical or cheesy way that most modern reproductions of that time seem to contrive. But still, in light of that, he refused to believe what he had seen was real. Perhaps it was some segment of a lost film, never fully finished or released back in it's time, a really well crafted one, but still thoroughly preposterous. Was the country really that advanced back then to even attempt the type quantum mechanic likely necessary, let alone now, to open rifts into other dimensions? "Still," Ryan scoffs as he rubs his eyes with his palms, "it's better than the standard atomic paranoia themes of the fifties, I suppose." Getting up and stepping into the aisle, Ryan notices something lying beside the chair directly on the opposite side of the aisle. Bending down, he picks up a roll of bandages and places it into his pocket, then quickly heads out. Just as he is exiting through the door, he hears the familiar but still uncomfortable screech of the loudspeakers, followed again by the same announcer. "What a bunch of fucking amateurs! How hard is it to fix a damn P.A. system? Jesus fucking Christ I swear ... what? Oh. *Ahem* Dear horror enthusiasts, We are pleased to see that you are making progress in our little tour, But the rules of the game have changed a little because a new entity is now free! What is it I hear you ask? Don't worry your silly little heads about that, You will find out what it is first hand! We don't want you dying on us prematurely so as a token of our good will, We have provided you with basic defense measures ... after all, The best defense is a good offense! Jack, I swear to god you will be on toilet duty for this little prank of yours, if I ever ..." Ryan shakes his head at the absurdity of the last message, finally allow him to let go of any lingering doubts that might have still hung to him about the film he had just viewed. "Grade-A Gouda, guys. Oh well, let's see what you have set up for us this time." Ryan trots back to the lobby, but is stopped dead in his tracks by the sight of what appears to be the dead body of the bus driver, sprawled out on the floor, laying lifeless beside the table containing the red and blue liquids from earlier, numerous knives stabbed into his body. Nervously, he creeps towards the figure until he is standing over the figure, and notices that it is only a dummy. Inspecting the chest, Ryan notices that two knives seemed to have been removed, with cuts in the cloth approximate in length to the width of the other blades. Perhaps some of the others had taken them, Ryan thought to himself, which wasn't a comforting thought in the least. He finally felt he had put his worries about this place beside him only a few moments ago, but this was disturbing. Who in their right mind would think it safe to give random people knives? Considering that it was more than simple enough to set up this gag in a way to prevent the knives from being removed, there was no doubt this was the designers intentions and it sickened Ryan greatly. This kind of gross irresponsibility was what had driven him away from most contact with the world in general, although he couldn't say he was completely blameless as well, but this... this was crazy and only pointed to trouble ahead. Feeling like a hypocrite, but also wishing to defend himself, Ryan pulls loose one of the knives from the mannequins body and places it along the inside of his belt. Ryan then notices the two empty vials on the table, labeled "Cherry" and "Plain Jane", which he wondered if perhaps those were the names of the other two women he had seen in the group besides Hitomi. Looking at the severed hands holding the jars and the insane note that had accompanied it, Ryan pondered if this coincided with the film in the auditorium, and what the liquids had to do with that research. As curious as he was to drink them, even though they were likely just Kool-Aid, he was not about to test the liquid just yet, as he wasn't sure it was safe or what perhaps it was for. Turning from the table, Ryan notices that a set of doors has opened along the west end of the theater and heads there. Inside the new area, he finds Hitomi, who he calls out to and says to her, "Hitomi, is everything okay? Did anything weird happen with you in your theater, like a weird video or something? You haven't tried the liquid by any chance, have you? It's probably not safe."

Cherry let the door to Auditorium 6 close behind her with a slight bang and reverberation of the second door. Her back was now against the door and she looked in her right hand where a shiny silverish key with a bit of tarnish lay as well as a wad of bandages. It was like she was compelled to pick both up. Pulling her purse around, she deposited both items within and zipped the leather purse back up. Her mind was racing with images from the film, the boring video that nearly caused her to drift away to sleep because her attention span dwindled. During her barrage of nodding offs she noticed others in the auditorium with her, however they seemed to be hypnotized..and sure enough the video addressed these unfortunate fools.
"Wow, they really outdid themselves on the acting here.." She mumbled sarcastically as she pushed away from the bluish painted and peeling doors.
Really, the video was a bunch of hogwash as far as she was concerned. It held no relevance to her except some sort of prop video used to scare the recipients of this lame tour. Even if it had been made back in the era to which the video portrayed, it was most likely a prop video back then too. People ate that up.
Rolling her eyes, she made her way to the the west wing doors which were noted on the key she snatched. Shoving the key in that old rusty lock, she gave a few more shoves than she did to the last lock she dealt with. A loud screech later and she pushed the door open. Leaving the key in the lock, she made her way back the way she originally came to the lobby, tripping over detritus here and there as well as old carpet runners that were so faded she had no clue what color they had originally been. Finally, back where everyone else was at, she noticed what some were staring at.. The bus driver lay in a heap, a pool of fresh black oozy blood congealing underneath him. Six knives stuck out from his corpse, the obvious reason why he was now deceased. Slowly, she approached the corpse, the hat removed from his head.. Relief washed over her as she realized this was a mannequin!!
Of course it's a mannequin.. This is a cheap scares tour.. Cherry thought and turned her head to the right, looking at the sticky, bloody awful mess below him. Pulling her phone out of her purse's side pocket, she unlocked it and popped the camera app on, snapping a photo of it for kicks. Slipping her small black metallic Android phone back into its slot, she smirked. "Sooo going to post this on Facebook when I get home.." She muttered as she had noticed no signal bars on her phone which meant her 4g LTE data was no doubt not working..and this place definitely had no Wi-Fi.
The Japanese woman popped up suddenly, seeming disturbed and put off. Most likely she thought that video was real as was the whole tour. Quickly, she removed one of the knives after downing some of that red liquid from earlier. Cherry was skeptical about drinking her own.. It smelled kind of funny. What if it was the wrong one?
The speakers started crackling again almost like when one pours milk on Rice Krispies. Cherry looked up toward one of those old speakers, cobwebs dusting over the front. Obviously the spider that had once lived there was long dead by now. "What a bunch of fucking amateurs! How hard is it to fix a damn P.A. system? Jesus fucking Christ I swear ... what? Oh. *Ahem*

Cherry merely shook her head at the arguing men on the P.A. system. Either that was part of the script or they were making it up as they went along. Either way, this was getting lamer by the minute.
The weird guy pulled one of the knives out of the mannequin's "body" and slipped off into the shadows as it seemed he did often. Cherry's curiosity about him was piqued as she stared off into the darkness, left eyebrow cocked. The nervous lonely guy made his entrance to the lobby then and too removed one of the knives, leaving three lodged into the torso of the mannequin. He seemed to be looking at something for a moment. Cherry waited until he had departed before moving to where he was staring. Three vials sat there. Two were labeled "Plain Jane" and the other had her nickname on it. Grabbing it up, she removed the tag and looked the glass vial over. It was empty. Going back to where she had filled her first, she filled this one with blue liquid in case the red liquid was the one they were not supposed to drink. Shoving the stopper into the neck of the vial, she slipped it into her purse with the first.
Walking back to the so called bus driver, she bent over and extended her right hand as her tongue played with the lip ring on the left side of her lower lip. Her fingers gripped the handle of the rather large butcher like knife, slowly pulling it out as a little gush of crimson followed her movements. This did not seem to affect her at all as it was merely a prop, as was everything here..except these knives. They were real. And sharp. Whirling about, she noticed the emo girl from earlier still in her self designated spot. The goatee guy had not shown up yet. She would wait for him..and tag alongside him..yes he seemed the most sane of the lot..

For some reason Hitomi felt a moment of calm like some clarity had came about with this she made her mind up it would be best to choose a room now before anything else out of the ordinary happened walking to one of the storage room she is startled by a presence that isn't the buff Lion man.
Despite the fear she turns slowly as if she didn't want to believe what was happening, one hand on the knife the other ready to throw the ofuda, facing the shadowy figure in the sparsely lit west wing she shouts "Akuryo Taisan"
Before realising it was Ryan from earlier, Hitomi had a sense of relief before regaining her composure.
"Hitomi, is everything okay? Did anything weird happen with you in your theater, like a weird video or something? You haven't tried the liquid by any chance, have you? It's probably not safe."
"I saw something strange words can not describe it right now, mentally horrifying if it was true." It wasn't as if she couldn't talk but the severity and shock of the situation didn't help matters that all she could project was broken English. "Take care Ryan, who knows what is in store in this town!"
As she moves towards the storage rooms she notices the girl from earlier just waiting for someone or something? Whatever is happening Hitomi drags herself to the

It wasn't that the smell was bad, so much as it was just strong and had a smack you in the face full force kind of kick to it. It was just that aged, musty, slightly mildewy odor that came from a long period of neglect. Come to think of it, it reminded him of old people, too, as the first thing that came to mind wasn't what he was looking at, but that stale air of his Grandmother's house as a child. That moldery old person smell had been as strong as the one that had just hit him when he'd unlocked the door here. And it kind of stuck once it was there, as in stuck around inside your nostrils like a .. bad smell. Heh, yeah, well, how else would you explain it? It didn't matter what else you did, or how many other things you smelt or attempted to afterwards, because that smell, that moldery old smell was the one that would come back for days to haunt you, in a way. Riley shuddered involuntarily, then.
Damn straight it'll haunt ya. 'Specially since that last time ya smelt that shit you were standin' in the corner with your dick in your hand and your tongue hanging out…
The feedback startled the man then, and he kicked out at the bottom of one of the back of the old theatre seats, his foot actually slipping straight through the back of the rotten leather, almost causing him to lose his balance and he cursed out loud, not for the first time so far that day.
“Ah, fuck that shit!”
And where the hell had that particular thought come from just now anyway? Of all of the times and places. He shook his head, grimacing a little and waited for the next announcement. Sure enough it was only a few seconds later.
The tour 'narrator' or 'narrators' spoke.
"What a bunch of fucking amateurs! How hard is it to fix a damn P.A. system? Jesus fucking Christ I swear ... what? Oh. *Ahem*

Jesus. He really hoped that the stuff that came through the speakers was scripted, otherwise the people running this thing were completely and utterly incompetent, not to mention unprofessional. He laughed then anyway and shook his head. Well look at how many people were on this tour to start with. It was far from what you would or could call packed. Not even half way to being sold out, and was it any wonder? This shit was amateur, at best. Listen to these clowns arguing over the PA like...
A flicker out of the corner of his eye then, and he raised his eyebrows, surprised as a movie began to play on the old screen up front. Small miracle it worked at all. A sudden change in the film a few minutes later all of a sudden make the thing that was playing or had been playing more interesting. Stranger too, but definitely more interesting. some weird lab and a strange circular black pattern that keeps flashing over and over. Suddenly the movie changes, it becomes apparent that it is an instructional video of some kind.
Several men in white lab coats stand in a laboratory and address the camera:
So now that the original instructional video is over you should notice that only several of you in the auditorium are awake, the rest have been induced with a sort of hypnosis, don't worry they will be fine once this video ends. With another involuntary shudder and a confused furrowing of his brow, Riley turned on his heel and headed back towards the door he'd come in through. Something caught his eye at the last minute, on the ground, half tucked in underneath one of the old seats.
He hurriedly stuffed the bandages into his jacket pocket before shouldering the theatre doors open and exiting rather quickly, only to find that the group was gathered, or had gathered again and were starting to disperse from the lobby one by one. Not a very sociable thought, either. Mind you, had he really come here to socialize? Get laid maybe, drink more than he should, kick back and relax. That was about it.
He smirked to himself when he saw one of the vials there with the name 'Cherry' on it. He assumed, maybe correctly, maybe not, that she was the one with the good looking ass he'd seen slipping out of the lobby not so long ago, before they'd all got the keys to the auditoriums. Yeah, he wouldn't mind a poke at that one, maybe. Back in the real world anyway. Plain Jane. Well that was self explanatory, wasn't it? Still, maybe she'd be worth a tap all cleaned up and not so jittery looking. Seriously dude, what the fuck is wrong with you? He thought to himself.
Without a reason for which one he chose, Riley closed his hand around one of the knives. It didn't matter which one, after all, did it? … Did it?

"I saw something strange words can not describe it right now, mentally horrifying if it was true. Take care Ryan, who knows what is in store in this town!"
Obviously something had shaken Hitomi very much. Whether it was the same bizarre video he had watched or something quite worse, he wasn't sure, but before he could reply she had already quickly turned and headed away from him. He thought about following her, but she was clearly moving with a purpose, perhaps looking for further clues to what is really going on or even better, an escape.
Ryan couldn't knock her for that and said under his breath with an oddly happy grin, "Good luck, kid."
He then turned to see everyone else had gathered around the area, the ruggedly handsome looking guy that he hasn't talked to yet, along with both "Plain Jane" and "Cherry". It wasn't hard to tell which girl was likely which, because one looked rather drab and sadly skittish looking, while the other looked mighty damn tasty, not that he had an intention of making moves on anyone at the moment. Finding out what the hell was going on, and staying alive took priority first.
Looking around the new area, Ryan heads towards a room clearly labeled as for the storing movie props used in the theater. Flicking on a dim, flickering light inside, Ryan goes in and begins looking about.

Cherry saw the goatee guy slip up and grab one of the knives seemingly indiscriminately. Shortly, he moved off and Cherry so quietly followed him, her heeled boots making hardly a noise on the worn, dusty, near threadbare carpeting. It seemed logical to pair up with someone. No doubt the Japanese woman would be following the nervous guy. The weird guy seemed to like going alone and 'Plain Jane' seemed complacent to sit where she had been since they got into the theatre which seemed to be hours ago.
Gripping the knife in her hand, she looked about, nearly sneezing over the amounts of dust and other irritants floating in the air around her. Should have stopped by CVS Pharmacy yesterday to grab some allergy meds, but noooo I had to sleep in before work.. She shook her head with that and kept her eyes on the man in front of her. In a moment's time, the man found a place to search and Cherry slipped in with him, letting the door close softly behind her.

She was feeling a little better, and chain-smoking through four cigarettes undeniably did something for you, but it was slowly beginning to dawn on her with that same old certainty that there was Only one way to get all the way right. Her head wasn't pounding but it still throbbed; it stopped spinning but it still didn't seem to stay quite still. Reaching down with her free hand, she felt for the familiar and reassuring lump inside her apron pocket; eyes darting to the side keenly, she at last seemed to notice her surroundings, seeing that more people were coming and going, inspecting some mannequin on the ground. For the first time since arriving here, she realized that she had somehow been dragged into a sort of horrorshow, a Haunted House type attraction, a weird kind of interactive tour or something like it. Which was... fine. She hadn't paid for a ticket, hadn't had to spend any money on it. The only problem it caused was that it seemed to have stuck her with Other people, and that posed a problem. Drawing down the last of her cigarette, she stubbed it out next to it's three siblings on the old, scuffed tile floor she was seated on, rubbing her brow once more with the heel of her palm and blinking at the dim surroundings. Four now and Two at the bus stop and one lost when she was fleeing from whatever that was about (Already the memory was fading of her 'chase', of her certainty at being followed and the possibly nonexistent bald man she had fled from for no reason at all, that incident seeming like a strange and contextless artifact from a dream she'd woken up from hours ago) meant seven down and thirteen left in her first pack, leaving a total of Thirty Three cigarettes remaining. It was the only math she could still do - accounting for her stashes and funds. She knew she would have to start being stingy with them soon, but for now she still felt pressure to take out and light just one more, finish number eight and really brace herself for standing and walking and all of that unbearable shit. She overcame her desire though, knowing she wouldn't have time for a full cigarette between here and there, and that she had a better weapon in her arsenal for dealing with her state. Sniffing, she got her feet under her and awkwardly straightened herself out, standing back up stiffly and taking a few uncertain steps around; over to the side first, then forward, into the middle of the room. It seemed like everyone had moved on, disappearing away through an open set of double doors in the side of the lobby, leaving her alone once more. Still, it wasn't privacy, so she started to cross the room, passing by the little display in the center of the room. There was a knife sticking out of it, which justified the liberally-applied and poorly colored fake blood all over the floor. It looked like the figure had been stabbed a bunch of times, with visible holes of varying size clearly visible through it's clothes; She didn't even think to take the knife, inferring subconsciously that it was just a prop and paying it absolutely no mind at all. The vial on the table, however, stuck out to her; it was obviously on display, right there for them to interact with. There was a note tied to it, but it was too dim in the room and her eyes were still too hazy and unfocused to read it; of course, she barely tried, but all the same. Picking it up, she held it between her thumb and index finger and held it up to the light, squinting and trying to figure out what it was for. Spotting the two liquids held in the Halloween-decoration severed arms, she rubbed her throat and realized how dry and uncomfortable her mouth felt. Helping herself to the refreshments, she dunked the vial into the red liquid on impulse before raising it up to her nose and smelling it to see if it was cherry punch or wine or what. Finding the smell to be unseemly, she immediately poured it out and dunked it into the blue liquid instead, knocking it back and then chasing it with two more Vial fulls of the same. The taste was equally unappealing but perhaps not as strong-seeming as the red one had been, and she thought nothing more of it than that. Turning, she started away, heading through the doors that everyone else had gone through, giving the place a quick look around.
After a nearly eternal-feeling minute or two, 'Plain Jane' came across a clearly-marked Janitor's closet; checking the knob she found that it opened easily, swinging the door open a bit and slipping in, shutting it quickly behind her. Clutching the bulge in her apron pocket once again, she gave a glance around the Closet to make sure nobody else was around, ensuring that she was alone here and looking for something she could use.

Turn Update Ambush! Cherry and Riley fiddle with the lock on Movie Splicing Room E.Using the knife to pry the door open even if clumsily they enter the Movie Splicing Room E and as soon as they do they hear a silent cry, almost a whimper somewhere inside. Riley and Cherry look to each other in confusion and slight disbelief that this is just one of the numerous cheap scares that they have seen thus far on this tour for a second and move forward into the room to investigate when suddenly something falls over in the far side of the room and some movie canisters roll their way stopping shortly before their feet and falling over on the side. Before they can react to the situation they both see a frail creature swiftly lunge towards them from the soft shadow of the far side of the room. In that split second Cherry and Riley manage to make out the silhouette of a human being even if very thin, the wrinkly and almost dry skin that wraps tightly around its bones like hot plastic, a shiny white expressionless porcelain mask covering its face and what seems to be sharpened bones where its arms should be. All the two can think in that moment is how fast the creature is closing in on them both with its sharpened appendages. Riley clumsily loads the single bullet in his possession into his gun hands shaking while Cherry backs off into a corner gripping her knife thumb and index finger toward the blade end trying to watch the creature move as best as she can but a split second later her eyes loose sight of it and she turn to Riley who has now finished loading his gun, he raises it up trying to aim but finds no target within his eyesight. Cherry quickly lunges towards a nearby shelf with various film canisters and topples it over to put some obstacle between them and the thing in the dark. As the shelf falls over and the canisters scatter about the room in every direction Cherry realizes that the noise she has just made with that shelf falling over gives the perfect camouflage for the creature to close in and as soon as she thinks that she feels a cold almost dagger like sensation in her lower leg. In shock as much as pain she topples over and falls to the ground as her leg gives way. Riley still confused and trying his very best to stop his hands from shaking stands and waits for an opportunity to fire that single shot that could end this encounter as soon as it had begun. Not longer than a second of her occupying the ground Cherry sees the white porcelain mask glimmer as the creature creeps up her body and displays the absence of a face just inches away from hers. The creature now on top of Cherry raises its sharp spear like bone appendage as if readying for a fatal blow and it is then that Cherry, frantically searching for anything on the ground with her hand, acknowledges that the knife fell out of her hand when she stumbled. Grabbing something heavy and metallic she hits the creature hard on its porcelain mask cracking it in some areas. Seeing that single opportunity present itself while the creature was stunned even if for a fraction of a moment Riley cocks the gun and pulls the trigger. A loud bang echoes through the small room and it fills up with gunpowder smoke quickly. Cherry feels the creature slump lifelessly onto her with a hole right through its head. She pushes it off herself and looks at what she had hit it with. A film canister ... she grabs her knife off ... the battle lasted no longer than ten seconds and it was over as quickly as it began. Cherry is injured! (minor leg puncture) (minor injury ... takes two turns of REST (no other action can be performed that round expect interacting) to heal or a minor healing item can be used to heal in one round (no other action except interaction can be performed after using a healing item))). Riley is unharmed!************************************************************************ The speakers start up again and you wonder what kind of nonsense will spill out this time. Log update: We did it! We have finally managed to pull that being into our world through the door! Jackson may be exaggerating in our method but what does that buffoon know? We have learned something incredible right off the bat: the being is not only capable of thought but it can communicate via telepathy ... well sort of. I'm getting ahead of myself though.
As we have previously established the being on the other side is not corporeal in nature. It needs a host to become physical and in order for us to bring it over to our world we had to give it a host. Luckily we are well supplied with war prisoners for experimentation and they are fulfilling their role to the letter in that regard. We strapped several prisoners to a chair and left them near our door to the other world but without any success at first. Then we finally got it: the being cannot stay inside a host if other life forms acknowledge it inhabiting a certain body though it did not react to being filmed with infrared cameras and those showed anomalies in the host's body shape and form indicating the being inside. So we had to put several prisoners near the door at the same time to successfully bring the being over. Now since we couldn't directly communicate with the creature we had to resort to communication via radio from a room without windows or leaving notes with the test subjects with questions and such. To our surprise the later method worked rather perfectly and we had finally established a secure communications method with a being from a completely different world!
While we are still in the early stages of trying to get information about the being's level of intelligence there is another thing we have to figure out. What the hell is that red liquid that we retrieved from our first breach? Early testing didn't show it to be made out of any particular consistency and lab results showed it to be similar to water. We set up infrared cameras in a room with no windows and made one of the prisoners drink it and guess what? Within 24 hours of ingestion the first subject displayed signs of being possessed by the creature. Though as soon as we directly approached the possessed and acknowledged it inside our prisoner it naturally left the host. This leads us to believe that that red stuff is some kind of a lure. We believe we can synthesize a repellent from the red liquid using the antitoxin method for future need if it may arise. The jars with liquids are almost empty! There is only enough red liquid for one vial and enough blue liquid for two vials! For those of you wishing to consume the red stuff you can PM me instead of posting about it here for everyone to see (making the voting harder for the rest)(first come, first serve) I will post a mini update informing the rest of a red liquid haven been consumed ... when that happens others won't be able to drink the red liquid that round (since the possession will move from the current host to the one who consumed the red liquid first after the turn update). The possessed has placed a curse on one of the players! Cursed: a cursed player will have a 100% chance of an ambush during their next search (after the ambush is completed or run away from the curse will lift) Cherry has been voted to be the possessed! The group chose wrong, she was not possessed! The possession has moved to a new host! As punishment for a wrong guess the whole group is now fatigued for this round! Fatigued: everyone is tired and as the result this round searching can only be done in pairs. If only one person searches a room they will not find anything. Be advised that one of you has been cursed and will have a 100% chance of an ambush during their next search. Weapon durability: from now on melee weapons have durability and will break after a specific number of uses (breaking down a locked door counts as 1 use as does an ambush ... for example: you can break a door down and have the weapon broken but inside could be an ambush leaving you defenseless!) the exception to this is guns which cannot break but they cannot be used without bullets either. The knives you carry have 1 durability point! Cherry laid there on the scratchy greenish flooring of the movie splicing room, scared out of her mind at what had just transpired. Her memory was fuzzy at best. It seemed like the whole encounter happened in a split second, though it was more like ten seconds, maybe. The creature convulsed on top of her once after the fatal shot that took its life..if one could call it that. It looked more like a creepy zombie like thing with a porcelain mask. Something from one of her favorite survival horror games. At first she was sure it was someone in a costume..but after it blatantly attacked her, she knew this had to be.....legit...or some sick prank. After Riley shot the thing she knew the truth.
This..this shit's real?! Cherry thought feverishly. Her breathing had not slowed down not did her heart and she stared at the creature after shoving it off of herself to which it made a heavy thump on the ground, moving a film canister and empty reel with it, grinding on the bare spot where carpet had once been.
In a quick motion she tried to pull herself up but the pain from her leg burned and she bit down on her tongue, her silver tongue ring barbell clinking on her perfect teeth. "Ahhhh.." She hissed, rubbing near where the minor wound lay. It wasn't deep at her moment's glance, but it hit the right nerve.
Looking up, she tried on a smile..a genuine one. "Thanks. I owe ya one." She murmured to Riley, her honey brown eyes a bit misty due to the pure shock of the moment and maybe the sting of the pain, however she was NOT crying or near to doing such..that was something she rarely EVER did..and surely this was NOT one of those times. Getting to her feet, she kept weight off of her leg until she was sure nothing was broken or otherwise.
Stepping over the shelving unit she had toppled, she made her way over to the man that had saved her life twice in this short span; once by nudging her out of the way with his left shoulder and another by dispatching the rotting thing that seemed right out of a 'Resident Evil' game or whatever.
Leaning down, she picked up the knife she dropped not a minute ago and gripped it tightly. Chastising herself mentally, she vowed to knock it off with distractions and get right to the killing of anymore of these weird creaturey things of doom from Hell.
Just as she was making way for the door, the P.A. popped on again. After a long drawn out monologue from whoever the hell was conducting this 'experiment', Cherry's eyes grew wide and she froze, right hand on the handle to the door. Her full lips pursed and she began to nibble her lower lip. "I'm so glad I never drank that red stuff.. It was enticing, however, but the smell.." Her voice quivered and she raised her left eyebrow, staring at the yellowed wall near the door, blankly, for a moment. What crossed over to 'our side'? W-where is it? W-why.. She stifled her erratic thoughts and her eyes shifted to look at Riley but she was sure he did not know either. Again her thoughts began racing.. What just what was going on? Her breathing, though slowed from earlier, was still a bit faster than usual.
"Possession.." Cherry whispered, closing her dark eyelinered eyes half way, sultry noir eyelashes covering her eyes.

Entering the Film Reel Storage room all the movies from an age long ago with titles Hitomi hadn't even heard of quite possible since she had only been in the country for half a year, and thinking back she hadn't seen much in terms of movies having grown up at the shrine plus having other activities keeping her busy.
As she searches the room she becomes more dizzy and disorientated the longer she is in there, flicking through the film Hitomi finds a small shard of glass could possibly be useful for later so she wraps it carefully and puts in her bag. Making her way out of the room with nothing more of interest that can be used the dizzyness won't go away and she starts having flashbacks, visions of another time but something was different here.....
Looking around the dimly lit west wing Hitomi finds a old bench to rest on central to most of the rooms, in an almost trance like state with head in her hands muttering "The Lion is the key".............

Moving through the storage room, Ryan finds loads of movie props laying about. Mostly they are costumes from popular films, which Ryan assumes were worn during promotions of initial releases. As he walks among the shelves, one prop in particular catches his eye from a distance. Approaching, he sees that it is a Frankenstein's monster head, but what really gets his attention is the long metal ice pick crudely jabbed into it's forehead. Pulling it out with some effort, Ryan examines it for a long time and decides that it might make a worthwhile weapon if he needed one, especially if his knife went missing. At the least, it could maybe be used to pry open a door, perhaps to get out of this decrepit theater.
Just then, Ryan hears a shot ring out a few rooms down. Slowly creeping to the door, he opens slightly ajar and looks down the corridor of the west wing. The source of the gunshot seemed to have come from one of the movie splicing rooms at the far end of the corridor, marked with the letter "E" on the front door. When no one came out immediately, Ryan stepped out into the corridor, ice pick in hand, intending to head there in investigate. As he moved, he suddenly felt very sluggish, as though his energy had been drained from him without any real exertion on his part. He found himself slumping against the wall just beside the doorway, his muscles inexplicably weary.
Just then, the PA system blared back on, this time playing what sounded like an old tape recording of some kind. It talked more about the discovery of the scientist of a parallel world and of an unknown incorporeal being previously discussed in that odd bit of film footage earlier. They also mentioned the red and blue liquids, with the red apparently able to allow the entity to draw itself into you easier, while the blue... did something or other, but Ryan assumed it acted like a repellent (either to stop from being possessed or remove possession, he imagined), making some sense of the note found beside the two jars of the red and blue stuff.
Ryan wondered if this was all still a part of the experience of this tour, or was something more ominous going on. Either way, the gunshot was real and someone could be in danger. Only one thing stopped him from venturing out any further to door. He saw Hitomi at the center of the corridor, sitting on a bench against the wall. Her head bowed down into her hands, she looked very distressed. As he approached her, he could hear her saying something that was muffled against her hands. It was only as he got closer did Ryan finally hear what she was saying, though it didn't make any sense to him in any context.
"The Lion is the key" She repeated this phrase several times, like some kind of mantra.
The scene was very disturbing, but also heartbreaking for Ryan to see. Something had scared the kid quite badly he imagined. Or was it just the stress of everything in general in this place, which he had to admit was enough to put most people on edge.
Ryan places a hand gently on Hitomi's shoulder and said to her, "Hitomi? What happened? What do you mean by 'The Lion is the Key'?"
He squeezes her shoulder, trying to prompt her to respond. "Whatever it is that's going, it's okay to tell me or anyone else here. We're all in this together, you know..."
Ryan continued, "If you want, we can look around together, which might not be a bad idea. Things are getting pretty real around here and staying in one place for too long might be a bit dangerous. You can pick the room if you want, or we can just sit here and talk about why you seem so upset. Whatever you want."
Ryan was beginning to feel those old emotions again, feelings he thought he had longed buried and felt he never wanted to be unearthed again. But here he was, playing surrogate father again, waiting for Hitomi to respond and wondering if he was going to regret trying to connect with another person again, especially in a place like this.

Naz reached in his pocket for a cigarette and came back with a glass eye! He was filled with the knowledge that he had been placed under a curse; this had nothing to do with his cocaine fueled paranioa (which had just been subsiding but now skyrocketed to new heights) but with the childlike faith of a true believer which flew in the face of everything he'd ever learned about scientific method "Lack of emperical evidence, my ass" he muttered savagely "I didn't put this in my pocket! Nobody else put it there either, so how else did it get there? This shit is actually happening, I'm cursed..." Naz tried to throw it against the wall and shatter both the object and hopefully the curse as well but it wouldn't leave his fist. With trembling hands he shoved it back into his pocket
