Picked up a used copy of Alone in the Dark: Inferno (the PS3 version). It's actually not bad. A few flaws here and there, but nothing that can't be adapted to. It's fun, and ultimately that's what matters. Can't for the life of me imagine why it's split up like that, though. I mean, chapters, fine. A lot of games do that. But to make them all skippable from the get-go? Odd, that.

I've heard a lot of what plagued it was fixed for the PS3 version. In which case I'm interested in picking it up.

I FINALLY got all the trophies in LittleBigPlanet, almost all of the single player trophies for Quantum of Solace, now I'm lost on what to do.

I'm just playing Bioshock for the first time; I don't usually like first person games, but this one is too good to pass up.

Picked up Guitar Hero 2 with my birthday money and I'm working my way through that now. My band name in this one is Cherokee Jack; 10 awesome points to anyone who gets that reference.

Nice. Which version are you playing? I recently picked up the Dreamcast version and replayed. It's brilliant.

I just finished Resident Evil 4 for the fifth time. This time was on the PC, so I modded it some, gave Leon a tactical M4 with infinite ammo and infinite health. Made the game feel completely different, but still fun

PS1 version.
God, the game is a classic. I made the Save Room music as my ringtone. RE2s save room music is haunting and always brings back fond memories.

Retro Game Challenge. This game was such a brilliant idea. It's a series of challenges for some of the best Retro (IE. NES/8 bit) games that never were. That is to say none of the games in this are real, they're all made for this title, and all very good. Good enough to not only have been real games, but great ones at that. It's got a little bit of everything, space shooters, rally racing, action, and even a fullblown rpg.
All of the games are actually full length games, and once you've passed their challenges in the story mode, you can unlock to play freely and completely in the freeplay mode. Lots and lots of references to 80's era 8 bit gaming of real life included. Down to even getting new gaming mags every month in the game to read about these fake games, including tips tricks and cheats for them.
Very cool. I'm really hoping it sells well. A sequel is coming to Japan, which might include 16 bit games, and it's all based from a quirky Japanese Tv show, that I'd like to see come here. If the game sells well enough both could come here.
Great game.
On that note of retro gaming... A coworker bought me the Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection for PS3. Damn near 50 oldschool Genesis/Sega Master System and Arcade games in one package. Including a lot I really love, like the entire Streets of Rage, Golden Axe and Sonic series. Also Comix Zone! Awesome.
