Rented The Godfather for PS2. Very GTA-like, but not bad. I might pick up a used copy sometime.

Hotel Dusk: Room 215
I decided to replay this again, as my last full play through was nearly 2 years ago, almost to the date. And I find that no matter how many good DS games I've played since, this is STILL easily my favorite game on the system.
I got a new Fightstick for Street Fighter IV, and have to relearn the game, since I'm a controller user by default. It'll be worth it though, I've already learned a lot of neat tricks.

Began playing Fallout 3 (my first Fallout game). It's good so far. Also playing Grim Fandango, but I'm stuck with a combination I have to achieve at the safe. I just can't get it right and it got so annoying I left the game for a while.

Went to gamestop or something comparable the other day and picked up SH2 for XBOX (already got on for PS2 and PC). It's kinda glitchy actually. Also got Siren, which I read about on a survival horror list. It's pretty terrible. Anyone ever play it?

Also got Siren, which I read about on a survival horror list. It's pretty terrible. Anyone ever play it? Whatch'u talkin' about foo'? Siren is a really really really really really really really really really *breaths in* really really really really really really hard game. But damn scary too. I gave up on it the first 6 times as well. Couldn't finish the 5th level, something like that. Anywhoo, it pays off in the end. Stick with it.

I loved Siren. It is hard as nails, and I never finished it because I'd gotten close to the end and my memory card got wiped clean...couldn't bring myself to do it all over again as I'd gotten every optional mission thus far. Hard work.
But I REALLY liked the game's atmosphere in general. It really felt like a Japanese horror film, albeit with horrible British accented dubbing. Still I loved the game. In fact...I may go back and play it soon...heh.
I've been trying out the inFAMOUS demo. Gotta say, I enjoy it. I'll most likely be picking it up.

I tried the inFAMOUS demo, but I wasn't sold. I might try it again soon and see if I was just missing something, because everyone else seemed to love it.
But I've been playing Patapon 2 a lot lately. Great game, definitely recommend it for any PSP owners.

See, I'm the same way you are about the inFAMOUS demo Zombie, but with Patapon. I can't get into it. And I HATE the retail download only format for part 2. I tried to get into Patapon 1 though, as everyone loved it. Wasn't for me.

watching my roommate play Shenmue. Have you gotten past the dialogue yet?

Started playing Siren again this morning at my girlfriend's house in the wee hours of the morning, in her darkened room. That was awesome. Great atmosphere for the game. The game is HARD AS HELL, but severely underrated as far as horror games go. It's atmosphere and tension are near perfect. Been a LONG time since I last played this game...due to my old memory card getting wiped out, I never got to beat it previously.
I'm saying these things like most of you haven't played this...oh well. If you haven't, and you have patience, I'd recommend giving it a shot.
I also played the X-Men Origins: Wolverine demo the other day and absolutely fell in love with the game. It's one of the best comic book/movie based games I've ever played, probably only next to The Warriors. So good in fact I had to go out and buy it.
I also tried a Red Faction: Guerrilla demo...it's ok. I wasn't super impressed.
AND I've been working on my Drow looking DeathKnight on a work buddy's server. She's ripping through Northrend currently.
On a side note, I LOVED Shenmue.

Fallout 3. I'm liking it so far. Sometimes I think the game is quite harsh on ammunition, but I guess since I'm playing on easy I'm not that troubled.

I'm in love with X-men Origins Wolverine. It's a damned fine game, while it got fairly decent reviews press wise, I feel it deserved better. I'm having a ball with it. Unlocked all of the alternate costumes...and one of them surprised me, in a very, very good way.
Excellent game man, I can't recommend it enough to Wolverine fans.

Ok then, I guess I will have to give Siren another go. It just seemed really corny and cliched, but perhaps I judged too soon. I will give it another run. And yes, he has gotten past the dialog in Shenmue, which is actually Shenmue II, which he says is not as fun as Shenmue. It looks ok. The jobs don't really look fun though!
