Yeah, Zafehosue is a great game, they have it on GOG if you want to buy it.
Bioshock : Infinite as well, got it half price for PC, enjoying the heck out of it. It has some great art directions. I wish the other NPC's were as active as Elizabeth. Most of them just look at you, blankly. But She's pretty cool, with the weapons, salts, health and money. Run's like crap on my machine though. Really do need to get it together and build a rig.

Bioshock Infinite and the new Tomb Raider on my g/f's and I's to buy list once we're done moving. Excited. Though I frickin suck and haven't played any of the Bioshock's yet. I'm going to play all 3 back to back once we get Infinite.
Still playing Skyrim. As I'm sure I will be until the next Fallout or Elder Scroll's comes out.
I've been playing Metal Gear Rising lately too. Holy freakin hell. That game is AWESOME but flawed. It really needed some work behind the gameplay mechanics. The idea behind parrying and such is cool but heavily flawed in execution. It also does an absolute shit job at explaining anything to you. Plus the camera loves giving a huge fuck you every once in a while.
The game itself is fun as hell and right up my alley though. It's not terribly hard though it really doesn't have a reasonable difficulty curve. I love reaction based gameplay a lot.

I'm not playing much recently. Picked up The 7th Guest AND The 13th Hour at a Goodwill a while back. In original boxes with everything!!! 13 Hour was still shrink wrapped! Now to find a time machine...

Finished Bioshock Infinite this morning. Amazing game, well worth the hype. The ending is one of the best I've seen in a good while.

It is, isn't it? I've been very happy with it, and happier with myself for knowing very little about the game leading up to it. I knew of Elizabeth, and the floating city. Incredibly satisfying. I got a PSPlus account recently, so i've played through a few games on there, The Cave, that was a quick bit of fun, and DoA5, that's story mode annoyed the hell out of me. Surely the first thing you should teach the player, if your doing a story mode, is teach the player how to defend before teaching them how to attack

Now to find a time machine... I have "The 7th Guest" somewhere, used to play it in the mid-90s! It was a fun game, still is! I don't have "The 13th Hour" though, how is it?

Surely the first thing you should teach the player, if your doing a story mode, is teach the player how to defend before teaching them how to attack I actually can't think of a single fighting game that teaches defense before offense actually, and I've played tons of them. DoA5's story was shitty, no doubt about it, but the game itself is solid, second best fighter released last year next to Persona 4 Arena. Easy as hell to pick up and difficult to master, it nailed it. From a competitive standpoint it's solid too. While on fighting games...picked up Injustice. Knew I'd love this due to the subject matter alone, but surprised how much I'm actually enjoying it. I don't have a problem with Mortal Kombat, but the game's have never really been about serious competitive play. In fact they almost offer more single-player content than multi, which is a VERY odd thing for a fighting game. Injustice actually keeps with that trend, the latter, offering tons of shit to do in single player land. But it also has taken big strides over MK9 to being a much, much more competitive game amongst the fighting game community. Adapting several things from other big fighters that were previously lacking from Netherrealm/MK games, and have long held the series back. The only question right now is how balanced it is. Aquaman in particular seems pretty damn powerful right now. So time will tell. Still, if Netherrealm can get serious about this and work on balancing issues this game has the potential to see high level tournament play, maybe even some solid EVO timeslotting.

I've always loved the mortal kombat games, but when they went to 3D models (instead of that awesome live capture/whatever they had in 1-U3) the character animations got clunky and the character designs went to shit. I'm fairly well convinced they can't do female characters without making them look like they were hit it the face with a steel post, and went and got breast enlargements for protection. I ended up watching the cutscenes from the injustice story online. And i think that was about the extent of my interest in it. Seems like the interesting part of the story is happening in the digital comics.
I've been playing Metal Gear Solid HD on the Vita, i seem incapable of making it anywhere near the start of either game. Also, finally got around to getting 'the tyranny of King George' for Assassins Creed 3, since the third chapter was released. Seems the content is restricted to the Frontier for now. They seem to have removed a bit of content from the game. No more buying equipment, hunting seems to have been stripped down quite a bit too, and there feels like there's something off in combat. Seems pretty obvious where the story is going to end up right now though.

So, I finished up Hitman absolution after getting it on the PS Plus, I nearly didn't, till i accidentally booted it up and realised i was 2 missions away from finishing the game, pretty much turned it into a shoot fest. I did really enjoy the game in the first half of the game, but there same a few points where the slightest mis-step resulted in loosing major points to your level score, and there was rarely any sort of indication you were about to be trespassing. The Disguise system never worked that well either, especially when you had costumes that covered your face, you got spotted extremely quickly.
Also picked up Ni No Kuni on the PS3,enjoying it visually, haven't really gotten too far into the story or the game yet to say much else, as it's largely on Auto-Pilot. But i think i'm going to enjoy it.

I started playing the first Bioshock. I do suck for not playing these before but whatever. My girlfriend will never let me live it down.
I think I'm just over the half way point. I do really dig this game.
Also beat Metal Gear Rising on hard. The game is so easy after a certain point, even on hard. I still hate the parrying system for being fucktarded though.

Have you tried it on the other difficulties? I found Hard a cake walk with my upgraded Raiden, but the next difficulties up are freakin brutal out the gate. I hardly finished the prologue at points.

I totally want to. Probably will soon for fun, since I really, really games that require crazy fast reaction time. Hell, it's why I've played Counterstrike off and on since 1999. I definitely needed to take a break from that game though. But I did hear that anything above hard is super brutal. But I noticed almost no difference between normal and hard. Hard was like... 10-15% more difficult. But I also played the first couple of levels over and over again on hard with no upgrades to get used to the parry system. Pisses me off so hard hah

Finished up with 'The Last of Us' the other night. I really love that opening, it's informative and emotional, and there's a sense of foreboding. But i don't think the game every really gets to those highs again. There's a lot of little niggling problems with the game, the main is that it feels a bit like a repainted uncharted minus the ability to jump on command. Ammo isn't scarce for anyone but you, so Bandits and soldiers have no problem shooting constantly, but they rarely drop any, especially towards the end, and thats really annoying when you manage to sneak kill a heap of enemies who carrying guns. I wish they didn't drop items, but you had to search their bodies for them. I'll be curious to see where the DLC takes the story. Also, Gunpoint, very funny, very fun.

Well, I beat all 3 Bioshock games in a row (loved them all,) followed that up with Last of Us (everyone is talking about it ripping of Ellen page, but I think they also ripped off Michael/Walt from Lost; that being said, the game was fantastic,) and am now working my way through Demon's Souls, which I am enjoying immensely.
Anyone else alive on here?
