This skin has a kanji on her lower back (it looks like north, but isn't) Does anyone know what it means?
Also the skin also has tats on the palms but I can't make them out. They almost look like hana-fuda cards, though...

@ Rachelchan- They are Raiden the japanese god of thunder/lightning, and Fu-Jin, god of wind. Chances are you have seen them quite a lot without knowing, that or any oni/devils really, as pretty much all have a fairly similar look about them. I always did like this skin, though her tatts do seem a bit TOO blotchy in places when viewed this close and static but meh, looks like branches and such when "wearing" it.

Pseudo you're dead wrong, Fujin and Raiden are characters from the Mortal Kombat games Speaking of the gods, they look like Hannyas... And this outfit is damn nice, also Douglas in his underpants, lol

Pseudo you're dead wrong, Fujin and Raiden are characters from the Mortal Kombat games Oh damn! And i was so sure! XD Found a nice li'l peice when doing a quick googley image search just now actually; commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Fujinraijin-tawaraya.jpgLooks like they got 'em down to a t.....-shirt! HAWHAW I'm so funny. (i would steer away from telling either that they resemble hannyas though.>_> They may dislike being told they look like chicks. ; )

You know, I always thought that Susano was the thunder god but turns out he is a storm god. (God of Summer Storms)
Back to the skin- I can't tell what is on her palm but I don't think it is a hana fuda card anymore. She also has some runes on her fingers. Dunno what they say but they sure as hell ain't Futhark
I'll find out what that kanji is in a week or so. That first radical is 'man' but that's all I know

Yep, they have a guy for every damn thing, and when it comes to murky weather i guess they all hang out and jam or something.XD As for the runes on her fingers, i seriously doubt they mean anything at all tbh. The closest i can see them coming to any alphabet i have ever seen is Aramaic, Etruscan or Phoenician (which i suppose would kinda make sense, especially Aramaic. ). And even then they only ever seem to read as things like "Ksuae" or the best one; "Qmdb", which just made me chuckle way more than it should have.XP They do seem to be of that whole area though rather than germanic/saxon runes as you said. (Despite Elder Futhark being used for quite a bit in SH symbol funkyness.. , buuut then again so are the bits i mentioned.. . Lawd they don't like making it easy do they.XD )

Well, when your religion is based upon primitive animisim, then I suppose you'll have a multitude of gods. Plenty of obscure Shinto deities. There's probably one responsible for blowing your hat off when you are late for something and he has a sister is presides over bad hair days Those runes definately have that Phonecian vibe, but don't spell anything. And here I was hoping for "thug" on one hand and "life" on the other... But then any type of rune seems out of place on the God o' Thunder skin, you know?

That kanji means "change" but more specifically to change into a monster. Mind you, I got this conformation from an expatriot who had no context, so I am both confident and excited about the translation
Yes, I am a nerd. Let the mocking ensue...

No mocking needed i'd say, as that is a rather funky revelation indeed. Now, get yer expatriot mate to confess that he knows ooooldskool wapanese dialects and translate the entire Kyodan SH4 disk. @_@ <- hypnogoggles
