Hamlet, the Laurence Olivier version. The Muppet Christmas Carol. Shut up, I love that movie. That's one of the movies that I just HAVE to watch at Christmas time. I plan on watching it again very soon. I love it as well.

This is the ultimate Xmas film. I've never seen it, but it already blows all the other christmas films out of the water with it's title 'Santa With Muscles' starring Hulk Hogan. It gets an epic 2.0 score over at imdb with user comments such as; Maybe your Mother-In-Law will think twice before coming back to your house next Christmas after you show her this "movie". And I know I posted this possibly last year over at SHF.co.uk, but here it is again, just to remind you guys of what we're all missing out on this holiday season. I did watch a film the other night called Bad Santa. It was actually pretty funny. Oh, and Hot Fuzz.

Die Hard With a Vengence was on last night, so it had to be watched on the new monster tv really.

MST3K Santa Claus Conquers the Martians. Another Christmas gem.
Reporter: Is it true there's a rumor you'll be using a rocket-powered sleigh this year? Santa: No, siree. We're goin' out the old-fashioned way. Tom Servo: Guns a-blazin'!

@ Father Vincent - First off, good to see you good sir, secondly, do you know the episode number for that MST3K, as I have lost my pages with the lists on and an MST3K Christmas would make a nice surprise for my housemates.
Oh, and I watched 28 Weeks Later last night.

Good to see you too, mighty. I don't know the episode number, but it's on a 2-disc set called "Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Esssentials" along with "Manos" The Hands Of Fate. (Another winner.)

The Dark Knight, I gave it to my gf for Christmas, an early present since I'm spending the holidays with my family. Hope no one objects to the making of this particular thread. It's similar to the old favourite "What are you listening to right now?" thread, but it's obviously to post which movie/DVD you have seen most recently. I watch a lot, and I'm always looking to be inspired by others' recommendations also, so post yours too. No tv shows though, please, just movies Most recent DVD I've seen was actually a few weeks ago, and it was called Paris Je T'aime. Yes it is subtitled, but it's a nice little collection of stories about all sorts of different people living in Paris. Love stories, quirky stories, sad stories etc. It's the most different movie I've seen in a while, and most definitely worth a watch. Link here: www.imdb.com/title/tt0401711/My fav is the Vampire one!

Brazil: too awesome to describe in words. In Bruges: pretty good, but didn't expect it to be a dark film. Somewhere in Time: good, but I prefer the book.

The Hunt for Red October - About a Russian captain defecating to the US. It's really an awesome movie, it follows the book almost perfectly (of course, it's by Tom Clancy).
