Bizarre little things you noticed

After playing the game again since I took a break from it for a little while I started to notice neat little things.

During the alternate worlds I noticed if you look through the floors given the opportunity you see things flowing. For example, in the his house in the alternate world you see.... well I'm not even sure what it is.

In the prison after his mother dies, once you leave and look through the floor you see a river of blood of some sort. Especially in the room with the flesh monster puzzle right after. It's a whole whirlpool of blood underneath. It's really quite surreal and bizarre.

It is BEST to turn off your flashlight when you look however, since it's hard to see it otherwise.

Also, if you stare at the bloodspots on the roof that are dripping blood, they morph a bit. It almost feels like it's pulling you in as you stare at them.

Another minor little one that I came across, when you find the note in the prison of the guy bitching about having to fix camera or whatever and to not touch his tools, there's two cameras sitting by his tools. The lights to the cameras are still blinking despite being disconnected.

Also, on a lot of the TVs with static in them, if you stand back a bit and look carefully, you can see Josh's face. It's somewhat hard to notice but you CAN see his face.

I had to type this thread rather quickly since I'm off to meet my friend to see Watchman soon. Sorry if it's slightly incoherent or difficult to understand in any capacity. I also wanted to type things while they were somewhat fresh in my memory.

I noticed the one about the CCTV cameras being turned on yet not plugged into anything.

Didn't notice the telly one though, I must give that a look. Nice find!

Hah, I go OCD over these games when I play them usually. Try to get the most out of them that I can when I play them. Not usually in a rush unless monsters are spawning every 10 seconds like in Origins and Homecoming sometimes.

Another one I remembered is that sometimes in the alternate world in his house, the walls are bleeding too.

One of the best things about this game is its lighting. Obviously to take a lot of that in, you need to have your flashlight of. Which can also be a problem, but it's amazing sometimes.

The craziest was the blood whirlpool with that flesh monster puzzle in the otherworld prison. That was surreal to look at for a bit.

When your in alex's house for the first time, and you go into the basement, after you kill the lurker you go to cut the material between the basement and "dads secret room". Before you cut it Dad is stood on the other side of the material. After you cut it, it's a mannequin.

In the sewers, nearby one of the save points, there is a room and there is a hole in the wall. Zooming in on the hole you can see what look like gray limbs cemented into the wall. It was incredibly eerie and I really wish Homecoming had more scenery like that.

I always wondered why there was a mannequin there. I'll have to check this out when I play the game again.

Definitely going to keep an eye out for that on my next playthrough.
