I remember watching this www.youtube.com/watch?v=_qZcPmBaUcMWAY before I even had an x360 and it just made my boil stir, after I finally acquired the acursed X, Bioshock was somewhere in the top of my "To get" list and I was certainly NOT dissapointed when I finally got it ... Bioshock2? Play as Big Daddy again? Or pretend to be big daddy again? Either way .... ME WANT From what I've heard, you play as one of the first Big Daddies, so you still have free will. Or so the rumor goes.

I'm not too excited over this game. From what I've seen, I don't expect another experience the same level as the first. But it might be good anyway. I'm not too picky, so I'll try it out.
I do miss Rapture a little. ^_^

The multiplayer looks like Goldeneye/Time Splitters with a twist, it actually looks pretty fun.

God, TimeSplitters. I LOVED that game! I'm still sad that the current gen installment got shitcanned I traded in some games at GameStop. Got BioShock 2 completely paid off and half of Heavy Rain

you know something thats pissing me off about this. The add's are popping up everywhere, and since that 'comparison' pick went up of Big Daddy Alpha and Bomberman, I seriously can't un-see it. I glance at these advertisments around Kotaku and the likes and my initial reaction is there's a new bad ass Bomberman game coming out.

Haha, I love that picture!
Yeah, I can't unsee it either
EDIT Apparently you only need 97,000 ADAM to get to level 40 in the multiplayer. It'd be nice if 2K reset the stats and make everyone equal so people who got the game early won't slaughter the people just starting

DAMN this game takes forever to install on the PS3....just thought I'd mention that. For anyone interested who doesn't know, it's a mandatory 5GB install.

Ah, I wish I could've gone to the midnight release, but I have a 16 school day on Tuesdays.
Its snowing like a mutha up here so I don't know if my classes will still happen. If they don't I'm gonna brave the snow and get my copy ;D
Installs don't bother me. New HDD's are dirt cheap and easier than pie to install

The game is delicious. Being able to play as a Big Daddy is honestly the best thing that's ever been thought off for this series. As most that know me could tell you, while I did really enjoy the original game, I wasn't utterly blown away by it like most.
I'm only a few hours into this one and I'm really getting into it. I like the story a LOT more so far, and as I said, it's just too awesome playing as a Big Daddy.

I only got to play for an hour in between classes.
I like it so far. I LOVED the opening, gave me goosebumps.
Haven't tried the multiplayer yet
EDIT This may be nitpicking but the effects of the water outside the windows is lacking in this game. In the first one I would stare out the windows at the underground city. Now, it just looks cheap and fake
EDIT 2 Why the hell does your apartment in multiplayer have better water effects than the main game?!

I'm waiting to get the PC version. Can't make myself play a FPS any other way.
*sigh* It'll have to wait though. I really need a job, but college is taking all my time. T_T

This game is awesome. Just had to say it. I usually hang around the gamefaq boards for the newer games to reply to some silly topics and whatnot and I'm pretty used to the hate every game gets from your usual wanderers but this one has surprisingly gotten very little which makes me happy on some level as well. If this game gets another release then I can clearly see myself becoming one of those fanboys that will bite your throat XD
Haven't tried the multiplayer as I don't have "live" but the main story is what drew me in in the first place so meh.
Graphics? Shiny and whatnot, not really picky on that since I still replay psone games on my pc every now and then and the comparisons some people throw for newer games are just laugh worthy, is it just me who thinks the ps2 and xbox didn't happen THAT long ago as everyone else does?
All in all this is a superb game, very enjoyable AND you don't really HAVE to play the first to get into this one as stuff is pretty much explained.
Has anyone tried the multiplayer here though? I wonder what it's like?

Multiplayer isn't bad. But it's not exceptionally good either. The weapons feel like trash. The game modes are generic and it does feel tacked on.
However, it is fun. Mixing plasmids into the equation is fun and a neat idea. But none of them I've unlocked feel all that powerful, even when completely charged up.
It takes queue from Call of Duty with it's unlocking and leveling system, which is neat because it gives you something to look forward to. A new tonic, plasmid, weapon or weapon upgrade every level or so.
It's alright, nothing special. And it'll be swallowed up by not only it's present competition of CoD: MW2, but soon even more by the release of Battlefield Bad Company 2.
