Been ages since I actually posted anything artsy or otherwise, so I figured I would throw some of my friendly li'l creatures at you lot to see what you think of 'em. And as I said before, I have indeed been toying with computay assisted colourin', albeit with just a crappy laptop mouse (that's my excuse for the somewhat less than great results and I'm sticking to it!). The first is one that I had posted a photo of on SHF when I didn't have a working scanner, but I love 'im enough to post again in decent qualiteh. Next is a happy sheep fellow I began doodling and just couldn't stop (yes the flowers are lame and out of place, but they shall be tweaked in time). And some other bits that I have nothing to say aboot save for that they are my friends. Oh, and that the two spidery sketches are based on creatures from a bitchin' rp my bestest bud wrote ages ago, do please excuse the horrid gynocological nature of 'em. Comment, critique, etc.

Great set Pseudo! All of them are exceptionally creepy, but the one of the girl with the split belly is the one I find the most disturbing, followed closely by the spider/crab woman. Brilliant designs all

I agree, the split girl is nice. You should be doin concept art or something. Maybe someday I will hit you up for some character design so I can try and model it 3D. That would be sweet!

When you have solid concepts and strong rendering, why would you choke at the coloring stage? A mouse and a laptop aren't gonna get it done...
Splurge and get a nice desktop with a tablet. You can thank me later. Seriously though, you will only break your heart (and mine) trying to color work like that on your current setup

@ The Crimson One and alx, Well yeah, working with a mouse is absolutely horrible and pisses me off more than you could imagine. But then getting any kind of good equipment is completely out of the question when one is living hand to mouth every single day really. And cheers for saying why would I "choke" when one would have to be retarded to use just what I have if they had the option of using anything better. I am simply playing with the software using what I have until I have the luxury of being able to afford some good or even just slightly better gear, hopefully I am doing okay for a total beginner and technophobe. XD And Crimson One, I have been applying for positions in concept art lately actually. Got a "sadly not now" from DICE a few days ago, now hoping for word from three other studios in sweden.*crossin' all digits* I would love to harrass Visceral, but acceptance would mean relocating to the US...gnyarg! Thanks for the comments everyone, they are muchly appreciated!! ;D

Where's Visceral? L.A.? Let's move! I'm trying to get down there to go to a VFX school. Let's Dooooooeeeeeeetttt!
P.S. I hear the broke thing. I have $20 in my checking, $10 in savings, and am $150 overdrawn on my credit card. I don't get paid for like 2 more weeks! I'm freaking screwed! Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!

Lately, I've been lacking inspiration for stuff to do with my Warhammer 40K army. If you don't mind, I might try to adapt some of these.

Wow, these are some really freaky designs but they're all really good. I have to admit, the one of the woman in red with the blades is my favourite but the girl with the split stomach is amazing too.
The first one reminds me of the monsters you find in the game 'The Suffering'.
Good luck with the studio applications, hopefully someone will send some good news your way.

@ The Crimson One- I confess....I am more and more tempted actually..XD @ kumiko- Thankies, I didn't find it particularly comfortable to draw tbh.XD Her spider eye nips bothered me more though for some reason.. @ lolli- Thanks! I do like the colours on the bladeywench, though someday soon I hope to polish her up to look a lot better. @ Cenobite- Go for it! I would love to see how they turn out, so I hope you would post some pics for us here. Just y'know, don't go getting ten meeellion dollah for any of it without at least mentioning me, 'kay.
