Teaser TrailerReveals nothing except that the setting could be in Canada. I'm hoping for old school RE. Tight corridors, all alone, ZOMBIES NOT LAS PLAGAS. Time will tell

BoW have taken over the world? F'k that. I'm sorry but that to me sounds like a horrible start to getting attention. Hope they have a real trailer on the show floor and not just this teaser.

Besides it just doesn't fit with the tired formula that the Capcom insists of using over and over again, for starters you can't blow the earth up and a game isn't a resident evil if the area you just explored didn't conveniently self destruct, destroying all evidence of the virus with it.

From what I've heard, this is actually fake and has been confirmed to be. Though I'd love if this was in Canada! Haha.
Make it near the oilsands where I live~ most of the general populace here are zombies and the like. Have their heads so far up their asses with $$ it's turned them absolutely stupid. Hell, I think zombies have more personality and intelligence then these morons.

Huh? I thought the trailer was posted here taken with a grain of salt as to whenever or not it was real, the site it's hosted on even tells you that it's fake.
Anyway that was the point I was making, I was pointing out that Capcom woulden't go for an global infection idea because it messes with the story template they love so much.
Not to menction that such an idea would be too deep and solemn for Capcom's writing staff.

Ah, damn. I'll still leave this thread open for when the Real RE6 is announced.

So, people seem to be expecting RE6's announcment soon, A Viral Marketing Campaign has been started 'no hope left', counting down to the 19th of Jan. Or at least suggesting something will happen then. I saw a article on IGN about it yesterday, and they were saying in some of the photos, the o's in the fraise are 'bio-hazard' symbols. from the first photos i saw, i wouldn't have agreed. Was kinda hoping it had something to do with 'The last of us'

Hmmmm, interesting. It coincides with the rumor it'll take place in Asian territory.
I just want legit zombies back. No Las Plagas

Leon Kennedy is in the US when a virus outbreak happens and Chris Redfield is in China when the same thing happens. Supposedly their paths will cross at some point.
Looks more action orientated than RE5 and rumor is Ada will be playable and both Leon and Chris will have tagalong friends
Overall I'm excited but I was hoping that they were going to return to the survival horror aspect; its just action now

I like what I see, reminds me a bit of the olden RE games which I still regularly replay and love every moment of. What I don't like is that Leon is almost becoming a fridge with hands like Chris ... what the hell man? Also, did I just see Chris slide into cover? FFFFFUUUUUUUUU No no no no >_< No cover mechanics ... >_>

Hope they do something radical and make the two characters campaigns play differently. Chris's game looks like a Cover based shooter, while leon's looked like RE4/5. But then again, We've seen all of a minutes of gameplay footage?

Yeah, Chris is sliding into cover.
Popular theory around is Leons sections will more survival based and Chris' will be more action.
Hunnigan is back. The blonde girl sounds like Ashley. Who's the third playable character, the man who has important blood? He's quick like Wesker...could it be Alex Wesker, the only remaining Wesker Children. Some think it could be Steve Burnside but that's a stretch.
Interesting note RE6 takes place before RE5. It was stated it takes place 10 year after Raccoon City which places RE6 in 2008 while RE5 was in 2009.
EDIT It sounds like Chris and Leon will have AI friends ala RE5 I hope that they split up more and have COMPLETELY different scenarios play out and then cross paths a few times and then go do their own thing. It annoyed me in RE5 because Chris and Sheva were never more than 200 feet apart.

Leon is seen running and sliding around aswell. It really does look far too action focused already, just from that 2 minutes or so of in game footage. Funny, everyone keeps saying they want something that went back to the series roots, hell, i though they even said they were going to aim for back to roots, but this looks fast paced and action packed. I quite liked the trailer when i first watched it, and was looking forward to it. Funny how things can change in a matter of hours, or by re watching something. .
If its taking place before RE5, its going to be because they want to put a certain someone in the story again.
Edit: Alright, saw a interesting theory earlier. Our Mystery 3rd Player Character, Who i'm going to call Blood Money till we get a real name for him, is speculated to be 'Hunk'. Everyone's favourite gas mask wearing Mercenary that's appeared in at least 3 Resident Evil games. Be interesting if it is.

What I don't like is that Leon is almost becoming a fridge with hands like Chris OMGLOL! I got no clue why all the men are buffing up. They looked a hell of a lot better when they weren't steroid popping barrels of testosterone. Boo. As for the game itself, I think it looks great. I suppose you can't blame them for capitalizing on the success of RE4. That sold a tons of copies. I guess Capcom decided to stick with the winning formula. Sales figures and all that. To be honest, I'm not bothered whether they go old school or not. I personally found the old games too hard. I couldn't do them without a walkthrough. That said, I did find them fun. But I find the new ones fun too. If they made it survival horror, like the original RE4 was going to be, I'd love to see that.
