Sorry I just couldn't resist using the Rabbit icons I actually have never seen these before and whoever has designed those is my hero! And I just have to admit that seeing the seals next to the Rabbit's faces in the Emoticons' section brought back a lot of scary memories ( in a good way ) as you may have already figured out I am brand new to this site; but I am not new to the Silent Hill series at all, I hope I wont sound like an old guy when I say that my story with silent hill goes all the way back to when the very first one was released and the PSx gamers at school were all wondering about this new game "Silent Hill" which probably many of that generation of gamers believed to be a copy cat of the then recent phenomenal 1996 Resident Evil survival horror game, and I am sure that many other guys on this site will find this perhaps a bit nostalgic (if they ever read this that is) and just in case one of those guys I am talking about actually do read this I'd like to ask them this: How old are you guys? (guys only) I am asking because as a 28 year old guy I kind of feel a bit old here and knowing that probably there are other guys who are old timers in the Silent Hill area here too might make this age issue a bit less embarrassing for me Ok now that I have been introduced let me say something about what I think of Silent Hill nowadays, I as a matter of fact haven't really played any Silent Hill games since 2008! The last Silent Hill game I have played and beaten (of course after enjoying the first three games during "the golden era" of silent hill which some of us might reminisce about every once in a while or even find some memories from that period that are sad to remember ) is Silent Hill origins which at first I thought was going to bring Silent Hill back to its origins after Silent Hill 4 (Which by the way I liked even though I haven't enjoyed as much as the previous three games of the series ) caused the series to get off track a bit; but obviously Origins was just the end of an era in the Silent Hill's history and the beginning of another and that wasn't really the reason why I haven't played any silent hill games after Origins, I just haven't bothered to get a PS3 to play the other Silent Hill releases and I don't think I ever will, I actually have my own Silent Hill to struggle with in the real life now, so I just decided to leave the newer installments of the Konami Silent Hill to those who still have the energy to take up the silent hill challenge, that being said, though, some where in my sub consciousness the darkness of silent hill still lingers and probably this inner darkness in me is what brought me here (hahaha) to find a room to talk about Silent Hill every once in a while maybe, and I also think that the Silent Hill revelation movie probably had something to do with me being here on this site today, actually I have been a huge movies fan since the good old VHS days and I am sorry to say that Silent Hill movies are some of the worst movies I have ever watched and I am not saying this because they have completely changed many aspects of the games' stories which isn't necessarily a bad thing when you are making a movie, the reason why I didn't like the silent hill movies is because they are not interesting to watch, I know that I might be attacked for saying this (if someone actually read this far) but I am going to say it anyway, I personally find the Resident Evil movie series to be one of the best movies that are based on video games because it focuses on one of the best aspects of movies, ACTION, maybe if someone makes Silent Hill more action oriented (Like Hideo Kojima for example) by having you fight human and humanoid enemies that can actually kick some ass then Silent Hill will have a real fresh start.
