[Edit]
You know, to make that seem a little less theatric, I'm just going to say that I managed to realize the position I was in was not for me. Through certain measures, I've spent the last few months improving my lot in whatever which way I've been able. In a year's time, I went from a plateau of depression and mediocrity to a steady climb into the future. Good stuff all around, so long as the loose ends I had to leave behind don't catch up to me.

Well, my fall semester just ended and I picked up a second job doing janitorial at a ski resort 7pm - midnight. Made me supervisor right off the bat. The pay is mediocre and my social life, what little of it there is, has come to a grinding halt.
Thank god for Netflix

Remember as supervisor, you have earned the right to make your underlings suffer!

Something I am starting to notice is that I have a tendency to lash out at people I deem extremely stupid. normally because they get something wrong
They are never cases of ignorance though. If they get something they honestly didn't know about or coulden't possibly know about then fine. But when they get something wrong that they should know better about, or when the answer is right under their nose. I can't help but feel frustrated and end up lashing out at them.
One case i feel quite guilty about is when someone on youtube left a message on a clip on 'When The Wind Blows' about how the Nazis in the film are nuking Britain. Of course anyone who actualy wacthed the damn thing will tell you the fim isn't even set during the second world war, but the Cold War in the 1980s. It's pretty damn obvoius because as anyone could tell you, the Nazis never had access to Nuclear weapons during the blitzs. Also the guy leaving the note seemed puzzled why the "Nazis" would bomb the british countryside, apprantly not understanding that one Nuke could easily take out the whole south of the country, so of course a nuke hitting London would take out the entire south countryside around it.
After my lash out where I questioned if he ever attended a history class or if he even knew what a Nuclear bomb is, he responded saying I was being a dick. it made me wonder, was I being a dick? or was my responce partly justifed? I say partily because mabye I was abit rude about it and could of corrected him more politely, but it irrates me when people make such dumb comments, i mean had he wacthed the whole film before commenting or did five minutes of research on google he woulden't of made such mistakes

Having some slight difficulties. If I randomly disappear for an extended period of time, I've not run away, just gotten misplaced.

Well, a breif update for all as I have only a bit of time to actually post tonight (of all bloody nights, lawl), and I do wish to actually show that I still live and care. I am currently a little bit homeless in the UK and therefore have had only staggered infrequent access to the internets. Dear KAOz is still beaming specially designed lasers of love and support into my head from a distance, and the ever charming Vio and Vaco are taking care of you lovely little gubbins here so at least I have mental stability. I am hoping to have a nice new residence within this first month of the new yarr, as well as some rather shiny employment, so fret not, any who may have frettified. As for the reviews of the Silent Hill: Past Life books, the latest review is on a pc I cannot get access to right now, but that and the next shall be posted asap. My apologies to all and especially to Mr Tom Waltz. I will say this though, the next issue is due on shelves in January, so I hope you all kept aside a little of your x-mas money! So Happy New Yaarrr to all, and here's to the coming year bringing great things for all!!

@patientzero- I would find your post a tad off, but then I realised that I bloody know you irl and you aren't entirely wrong.XD Welcome aboard and try the sobriety, it's got mustard on.
In other (my) news, I have such tales of horror to tell about viewing potential homes, I shall leave it at this for now though; I am still looking, and from now on shall bring a full hazmat suit when I arrange to view flats within a mile of the town center. People scare me, they really do.

@pseudo: I've seen flats that look so grim that you'd think the city with fill them with cement and seal the door with a biohazard sign but the owner has the nerve to make boasts like "Yeah, a mini fridge and a hotplate would be all you need..." To which I replied "Oh, then it comes with the napalm launcher and asbestos suit? May I borrow your elder sign, there is an unspeakable horror fucking my leg..." patientzero: Normally I take my sobriety with wasabi and shoyu but I gotta say that Pseudo's sassy mustard really does make being sober a treat!

Well, lost my job of 9 years yesterday.
Nice to see that 9 years of outstanding service gets thrown to the wayside.
So much for buying a townhome this summer.
I'd go out and pound the pavement but I've applied to 4 restaurants, several big box department stores, local grocery stores and they've all said the same thing.
We're not hiring.
Le sigh

economy is still really sucking everywhere, yeah. =0\
my job search has been pretty depressing, haven't worked full time since i got out of college 2 years ago.
keep ending up in the hospital for autoimmune problems. now they want to put me on long term chemotherapy, but with no health insurance and not working full time, i can't afford any such thing. i applied for various medical coverage things but keep getting denied, so i consider myself basically screwed without some kind of miracle.
i'm just hoping to hit the lottery at this point. it's the only way out, methinks. ^_^

Half a month ago I filled a form for some security company that a mate of mine worked in and got hired several days later. Have been working there for roughly two weeks now and I pretty much love it. I work 24 hour shifts most of the time but the people I work with make it worth it all the way ... a bunch of crazy people that I can freely mess around and joke with. On the down side one does get pretty tired from a job like this but considering that I've been a lazy bastard for almost two years it's fine.

Been doing a ton of interviews lately. A place called Funnelbox gave me a call this morning, and they want me to start April 4th full time. It will be freelance, so it's not certain whether they will have work after April for me, but it is a damn good start! I will be doing Editing and maybe some VFX stuff. It is about freaking time!
