Some interesting things about Homecoming (Spoilers

These are some of the things I've noticed while playing Homecoming.

1. In 'Nightmare' (The level where Alex is in the hospital) there is a hallway which contains five bodies in body bags.

- Sam Bartlett dies
- Martin Fitch dies
- Lillian Shepherd dies
- Margaret Holloway dies
- Curtis Ackers dies

The nightmare seems to depict who dies in the game. (We see the parents killing their children, we see Adam cleaved in half, and now the body bags.)

2. The jacket that Alex is wearing is his fathers.

I looked back in the guide book, and found the Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty, for Adam.

DOB - 04-18-1954

Place of Entry into Active Duty: Fort Benning, GA

Last Duty Assignment and Major Command: XVIIth Airborne Corps

Station where Separated: Fort Bragg, NC


I have a feeling that Adam was either enlisted, or drafted into the army at age 18. Meaning 1972 is the year he enlisted.

From what I've been able to find, Fort Benning GA was/is essentially a base for basic training.

The 82nd Division of the Airborne Corps, located in Fort Bragg, NC, appears to be the base for the 82nd division of the Airborne corps.

It's the exact same badge we see on the jacket that Alex wears.


In the 1990s the 82nd Division of the Airborne Corps deployed to Kuwait in support of Operation Desert Storm. (2 August 1990 – 28 February 1991)

If Adam served in that war, he would have been 36 years old at the time of his retirement.

Anyways, the jacket that Alex is wearing def looks like a M65 Jacket using the desert camouflage pattern. The type of pattern that would have been used in Operation Desert Storm.


There for, the jacket that Alex is wearing belonged to his father.

3. Adam's SSN is 206-12-1972 His blood type is O negative, and his religion is "Other"

Yeah, I am positive cause I saw this and was like, oh, I'm at that bit -counts

and I recounted like ten times because I really wanted to be sure before accusing you of being mistaken, heh >< They're not all on the tables, some of them are slumped over things but there are 7.

During the first cutscene, Alex sees and hears each parent killing their child in the hospital rooms that he passes while on the gurney. If you watch closely, you can see the murders happening in the following order: Dr. Fitch dismembering/mutilating Scarlet, Judge Holloway strangling Nora, Mayor Bartlett dropping Joey into a hole.

Also, the surgeon who is pushing Alex's gurney is actually his father, Adam. It's likely that he is taking his son to his death to fulfill the sacrifice

And the tools hanging above Alex in operating room are the same as are on the appendiges of the final boss.

Aye, which also expains his skewering outside the doors to the room.

Just a side note. The significance of the numbers 206 (Josh died at 2:06, all the clocks in town stopped at 2:06, Alex falls through the hole in room 206 in the hotel, etc.) in Homecoming is reinforced throughout, and in the nightmare intro level, if you examine the door to room 206 you can hear water on the other side. It's interesting to note that the sacrifice Alex avoided was death by drowning.
