Well, alx does have a point about safety and all..but still I kinda still wanna make this happen (when I get the money up of course).. I guess I'm a dare devil. From what I read it's not illegal to enter Centralia and look around. There's signs and all that basically say "enter at your own risk" and that the ground is unstable with the mine vents and all. It's just not smart, I guess, to enter it. Haha. But--part of me is way too curious..

Look, if you really want to do this then I'm not gonna cock block you. But I couldn't live with myself if I didn't tell you to think it through...
Part of me wants to go right along with you and have a great time. But the old maid part of me sez "Are you out of your tiny little mind? Have you forgotten the last time you did something stupid like this?!?" and then I think better of it
And I'd hate to see anything bad happen to y'all. But go ahead and follow your bliss. My guiding philosophy is "No autopsy? No foul" but this time there could be an autopsy, so I wanted you to be aware of the real danger involved before you ran off and did something you might regret later
If you are aware of the danger and you still want to go ahead then more power to yus
Hell, I am the last person who can lecture you on playing it smart- I went skydiving and that is the single most stupid thing any person can do IMHO

Anyway, if you guys are really serious, I am too. I'd do anything to visit that place, but first we'd have to organize it and think things thoroughly through. We need to take Alx's advice, and probably avoid the more dangerous regions of the town. This trip would be expensive??, dangerous, risky, etc.
We could stay at a nearby hotel each night and visit the town during the day. Of course, we'd wander around at night too, so long as we all have flashlights and stick together. Hide-and-seek would have to be somewhere where we couldn't lose any of our group members. Not sure on that one.
...I'm not even sure what I'm talking about. Help me out. xD
Edit: I am 18 years old, very mature mentally (I think/hope), and have never done anything crazy or even seriously thought about doing something as crazy as this in my life.

As much as a tour around Centralia sounds fun I would never be able to summon enough money for the trip let alone convince my parents to let me go. I also have to take alx's advice as I prefer to stay away from risks that could result in death. It will forever be a fleeting dream in my memory. If anybody does decide to go then be careful and bring back photos But really be careful, it would be so sad if anybody died because of this.

Yeah, sounds like just a dream. Case dismissed?
I will go there someday by myself, though, with a few friends. Not kidding.

I had a dream with PH in it about a month ago. I was trying to get away from him in this house, and after I got out, my GF stumbled out and she had this, what appeared to be a sharp splintered section like the wood end of a shovel crammed at an angle into her mouth. I knew she was gonna die. Messed up huh?

I've had multiple dreams about Silent Hill. Some of them play out more like a video game and some less. I've never dreamt about the forums that I can remember, haha.

Well, I've dreamed about Lolli a couple of times since I saw her in the member photo thread, does that count?

I had a dream a couple of days ago that I was playing a new Silent Hill game. It must have been VR or something, cause I was the character. At the end, after I beat the game I got to play as Pyramid Head. I could feel the immense weight of my body, and I knew exactly where I had to go. I walked out of this metal, dirty room and into a lawn of sorts and James Sunderland was sitting on a bench. I was going to kill him and then he turned into my friend Sam. Strange huh? I seem to dream of PH occasionally. Always makes me happy when I do, no matter hoe terrifying it is when I'm in the dream. Wish the game was real.

Well you hardly need Centralia for a spooky time, there has to be hundreds of towns that lack a full working community, such as towns that consist mostly of holiday homes, go to them at the right time of year and they will be almost deserted. I've been to one recently and haven't seen anyone except the odd couple here and there, and that's in the day time. I bet they must be dead silent at night. Not as apealing as Centralia i know, but if you use your imagination,

Not as apealing as Centralia i know, but if you use your imagination, You know what, you're totally right. In fact, my hometown is nearby one of the, supposedly, most haunted places in the U.S. (Alton, Illinois). Although it's not abandoned. Still, you're right--I could find just some random, empty place. And wow this thread still lives?! *clap, clap*
