Seriously, who cares about Robin Hood? It was kinda lame.
Snow White is cheap, but she's still the one and only fairest of them all.
What's the cartoon that traced the Jungle Book in that chase sequence near the end?

Holy shit, I never knew about this until today. I hate Disney now anyway, this just adds fuel to the fire.

I suppose budget restraints could be a plausible explanation...nah they're just lazy. I don't really care much for Disney anymore anyway.

I was aware there was some tracing in early Disney films, though I didn't realise it was that bad What's the cartoon that traced the Jungle Book in that chase sequence near the end? That is 'The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad' Not a very well known early Disney film. It has a segment based on 'Sleepy Hallow' and another one based on 'The wind and the willows'. It was released in 1949, 18 years before 'The Jungle Book' so Jungle book was the one doing the tracing

That was informative. Well, being a fan of a number of anime I can't talk much, haha.
Pixar is still awesome though.

From what I read in the comments thats a famous Bruce Lee fight scene so both animes copied, not that I would know though, I've never seen a Bruce Lee film.

It's not like Disney didn't take the ideas for any of those movies from someplace else to begin with.

To me it's more about the amount they copied. Some of these scenes were copied frame for frame and when played side by side would look identical, which is just laziness on their part. They practically copied an entire scene and placed it in another film.

Well I think it's got to do with a limited budget than lazyness, 'Robin Hood' has the most traced animation, and that film had a small budget. Also Walt Disney had just died before the film went into production, that prouberly didn't do any good for the team morale

Budget is a bitch. At least the animation has quality. I watch Naruto and the week that show has good animation (each three months?), I feel like orgasming. They save it for the VERY important moments. Again, budget is a bitch and Japan's currently situation is NOT helping. >_<
