I'm in the process of updating my website, so I wanted to invite everyone to drop by ledante.com and take a look around. While it isn't a Silent Hill site per se, it definately has some SH influences
Anyway, since I'm already making changes if you have any issues with it, let me know. I would especially like to know how it looks on other systems... The only browsers I've tested are IE and FF
You may fire when ready

Arigato, Kumiko-chan! Glad to hear you like the site and relieved to hear my mouseovers work in Chrome
All the code on my site is CSS, so it should work on any HTML 2 compliant browser, but you never know...

It looks like you've put a lot of effort into this website, it's turned out really well. I like the layout and the Silent Hill-esque atmosphere. I also enjoyed the reading aspect, lots of stuff to read :D

It never fails to surprise me when folks praise my writing, since I never update that part of my site so I tend to forget that it is even there. But now I am filled with the knowledge that I have to upgrade the cuts section. How embarrassing is it to suddenly realize that "my first HTML table code" is still haunting my supposedly cutting edge site. Actually, I've dropped that section a couple times before but had to bring it back due to fan outrage (hence the outdated code) This pisses me off since I consider myself an artist, not an author. And a most reluctant web designer. Nevertheless, I am now shamed into wasting bandwidth by upgrading Cuts From the Whipping Post... And yet part of me keeps howling "Why don't they want to look at the pretty pictures?" I also enjoyed the reading aspect, lots of stuff to read :D

I did look at your artwork too, it's really good. I always imagined 3D work to be hard but it seems you've got a talent for it.

Tips to help with optimization: code.google.com/speed/Otherwise, checks out fine in Opera 9.64, Chrome, Firefox 3.5, Safari 4.0 for Windows, and IE 8.

I want to thank everybody for their feedback and effort, it means a lot to me that you'd take the time to lend a hand. Please don't be afraid to call out mistakes or even areas which you feel could use improvement: It will not hurt my feelings and it could even help make the site better @lolli: Very little of my art is 3D. Mostly the backgrounds and objects which are easily described by primitives are the only things I do with a raytracer. Figures and other complex things are generally done in a 2D app, so I guess my art is two and a half dee. But I'm glad that you like it, whatever it is. I will attempt to add more car chases into my site for your viewing pleasure... Alone: I knew you had a QA background but DAMN! Color me impressed. Thank you for taking the time to audit my site on five different browsers, that was really above and beyond the call of duty. And optimization pointers to boot. I've had it up to here with site updates right now, but I bookmarked the link and will be brushing up on those tips

Hmm, there is so much here I can steal, and claim for my own...
Did I say that out loud? No? Okay.

I think my site gives permission for reuse if NFP and I am credited. Why did I suddenly bring that up? It isn't like anybody said anything about plagiarizing. Am I drunk again?

If you test code, that is quality assurance (unit testing is QA) What trips me out about you is that know so much about DRM and best practices; neither has anything to do with web design And I will be the first to admit that I'm a cheesy HTML author... It isn't my forte but since everyone who has offered to make a "totally bitchen" site turned out to be undependable tweakers, the burden remains on my shoulders. However, simply because I don't want to spend the time making a snazzy site doesn't mean I will accept buggy code. At the very least, I must call out incompatibility in my FAQ I was especially moved when you gave me a link to how to improve my code! While I will be slow to move on that (making art remains my paramount priority) this is something I should've done myself long ago, and will certainly dig into Did you find obvious exceptions in my code or were you simply pointing me to an invaluable resource? I don't actually have a QA background, just a web design one, so I'm just used to testing sites in every mainstream browser for Windows that I know of.
