From Nintendo's 2010 conference press site. Check out the rightmost image on the lower row. Can anyone read Japanese and tell us what the actual title is?

Ugh, I wish developers would stop flocking to the Wii for a quick buck. I'd kill for a PS3 Fatal Frame (and a Harvest Moon).
Seeing as the last one never made it stateside I wonder if this one will

I, on the other hand, am thrilled to see this on the Wii and I hope to see more of this sort of thing.

That would be great as these games on ps2 can be a bit expensive.

Actually I think this is a very natural fit for the Wii. The motion controls sound perfect for this game. Pointing at the screen to aim the camera, or flashlight seems SO much easier than swiveling analog stick on a controller.
Besides the Wii needs more mature rated, hardcore games.

Besides the Wii needs more mature rated, hardcore games. Its got some great ones already, but yeah, more would be good.

Yeah, it has a mere handful compared to the other two competing consoles though.
Don't get me wrong, Wii's got some good stuff. Mad World and No More Heroes really come to mind here.

Kind of hard to believe they are thinking of porting FF2 to the Wii, there's not much they could improve graphic wise from the PS2 although the controls would certainly suit far more for the wii-mote than your regular controller. Still I wish to see a real sequel to the series for the normal consoles, I mean playing with the analog sticks never made me think "god, I wish I could swing some control mote to make this easier," I'm eager to see what comes out of this either way, perhaps if this succeeds then we will see a reboot of the series?
Adding to the great games for Wii theme: Muramasa: The demon blade. A classic controller is a must for this one but the game is so awesome either way. Such a shame they never ported it to the PS2 or I would have played the shit out of it.

Meh, Muramasa with a Gamecube controller worked fine for me.
I actually thought the controls for Fatal Frame II were garbage personally. So if anything I think it could be a lot better with a Wiimote.
