I've had a few Silent Hill-ysh dreams before...
This one was creepy. I was arriving home and took the elevator for my apartment with this very tall man in a coat (no, not Walter). When the elevator started going up, it suddenly stopped at 6th floor and the light went off. Our elevators have this middle window or so and I remember I saw this bloody hand in the glass. The gentleman open the door and we saw lots of corpses around us. My neighbors came to rescue the few who were still alive and then I woke up.
Another dream I had, and a bit funny too, I was in this room with 3 more people. Then a chubby guy enter the room and said "let's start this." We were there for a job interview. In the wall next to us there was this giant hole (just like Silent Hill 4: The Room) and the man said "you must go there and the survivor will get this job". We went through the hole and we saw ourselves in a rusty, bloody world... most likely, the Otherworld. Monsters appeared, nurses, lying figures, anything... but the worst part was yet to come: Pyramid Head. I remember I saw him cutting one of us in half, raping others (it was disturbing) but I found another hole and when I went through it there was the same chubby man from the interview waiting for me. He said "Congratulations, you got the job!".
And I woke up.

Not sure this qualifies as a dream, it never feels like one
It's a few times now, I am in the same room I happen to be sleeping in (normally my dorm room) but there is no color and there's bright light everywhere. I always get an unpleasant feeling, like something is very wrong and I just want to get out of there. The thing is I realise I am a sleep and force myself to wake up.
I don't really believe in outter body experaices so I think there's some psychological explaination for it. Though it's intresting to note that during these I never look directly at my bed, so I wonder if I would see myself there or just nothing if I was to.

Okay had abit of an mindfuck, I had a dream within a dream, something I wasn't convinced actually outside of fiction till now.
Can't remember the first dream, other than there wasn't anything that uniqe about it. So anyways I woke up in the second dream, and I was in my dorm room (again) but everything was normal, normally when you dream something is abit off which you only realise when you wake, but even now when I think back to this one it was a perfect simulation of when I wake up in my dorm room every morning.
So anyway in the dream I had woke up from the first dream, saw I had slept to 11:30 in the morning and I was due to meet up with some of my colleges in half an hour (Something I was really was due to do that day) just as I was planning to get up and make a cup of tea my bed blanket was pulled voilently off me by an invisable force and it started grabbing me and throwing me about the room. again realising I was infact still dreaming I forced myself to wake by screaming, I don't know why it works but it has worked before when I become aware of my dreams
And so I woke up again, gladly this time in reality at 7:00 in the morning
I am starting to think that If I am starting to get more and more dreams where I become aware that I am dreaming, rather than forcing myself to wake I should try if I can controll anything else, even if that means enduring the unpleasant nature of them

Today had me waking up after a dream as Link from LoZ. I was guiding Zelda into this Water Temple that formed by the highway near here, and we go in to get something when this conquistador-esque villain shows up and causes problems. We didn't fight, he just did a lot of boasting. Kind of funny, really.

I dreamt that I was back in my elementary school and one wing was under construction. There was scaffolding everywhere, but the building looked mostly complete. Later, I found out that it was abandoned before it was 100% complete because strange clusters of mushrooms had taken over the place, generating a sense of gloom and also, cold. The men working on the site mysteriously disappeared. Some believed they tried to get all the mushrooms and then decided on a strange compulsive whim to eat them right on the site, got poisoned and died. Some believed the mushrooms got them so high they got lost in a place they built themselves... Creepy shit.

I just had one where I was a time-traveling detective, sent back in time to see why something happened and possibly try to reverse it. I had to find this guy, gain his trust, and get a specific batch of information out of him, which I was able to do. It was really serious and pretty realistic for the most part, nothing too outlandish or wacky.
