right unsure if its been done but regardless where we all live we have all had days or weeks that things happen and you think "oh crap what would that brave man harry mason do?"
Well last few days here has been that foggy that you literally can not see more than 2ft in front of you!!! Plus the fact I live near an old abandoned train station and associated buildings makes erm "boring" nights interesting.
So ever had any cool sh moments or thought oh crap here comes a numb boby to get me

I live in a desert, so not much chance for fog here, though it's happened a time or two.. But I when I was in North Carolina in 2004, I went outside in the morning and the fog was so thick I could almost feel it. We were staying at a motel, so it kind of had that Silent Hill feel to it since we all know there's quite a few motels in Silent Hill. It was also oddly quiet, no one around there save for my Dad and me. You could almost think that maybe that shadow wasn't just a shadow, but maybe it was a Lying Figure or a Mannequin or something twisted like that.. Yeesh.

Just about every time it gets foggy I puposely take walks just to enjoy the SH vibe. Back where I used to live it got some really thick fog from time to time, so that was cool.
And earlier today, now that you mention it, a fairly large portion of a sidewalk was blocked off for construction, enough that I couldn't see beyond the barricades put up to see what the issue was. It reminded me of those ridiculously tall construction-looking barricades blocking the streets in SH2 and SH3.

Oh yeah! I really luv it when it's heavily foggy, hasn't been for a while tho! shame coz in South Shields i live right by two fairly large parks (For England anyway lol) which are also only separated by a road, plus it is so close to the sea and fair (amusement park) and when is it foggy it is so awesome & combined with the lighthouse just a couple of miles up the sea front road it reminds me of silent hill so much! God i hope there's some fog on its way soon~

Back in October, just a few days before Halloween, we had a nice fog roll in while I was leaving work. You honestly couldn't see more then maybe twenty or so feet before you, with the parking lot lights just hanging there. It made for excellent atmosphere. After I got home, I took the time to wander around in it until the sun came and pushed it all away. With nobody else around, it was like a slice of heaven.

I almost never get fog here :/
Last time it happened, years ago, I was on my way to work painfully early in the morning, so rather than enjoy it, I suppose I was cursing my fate. When I do feel a SH vibe, is when I roam an abandoned train station a bit to the north from home, it's all about rusty metal over there, and is deadly silent.

one I was walking to school one morning for finals, and it was foggy and snowy at the same time. There was an old man in the distance, and he moved very awkwardly. He looked JUST like a lying figure. I had to walk towards him and pass him up, which terrified me.
two I was on vacation once, and Dad was carrying a radio with him. We were in a dark, creepy apartment at night, and the radio's music cut off and static started playing. I almost screamed.
three Walking through a dark, creepy forest during vacation time while listening to the Silent Hill soundtrack on my headphones. This is during a different vacation than the one listed above.
