Offical Site has a count down that ends in 1 day 16 hours. So i figure that ends at about 4am Tuesday for me. Expecting it to be the initial trailer. You know, the one thats normally set to a really catch tune.

You think thats in game? Be interesting to see how this tree climbing will work, if we need to start on a low branch or off a incline like in the trailer.

building the AC universe video over at Game informers. Its quite interesting, hearing them talk about the process. and Corey talking about a scene that he wanted in the game. Sounds like it would have been a nice quiet little scene. and then Ezio would go off seeking revenge again...

Nice vid.
I'm kinda glad that Ezio wasn't there for Leonardo's death. That man has enough revenge on his plate.

I had to look up how old Leonardo died, to see if there was anything suspisious about his death, just to make sure. And there is a way he could have been worked into his life, cause apparently he called for a priest to confess to. I imagine it would be easy to to work Ezio in for that role. But still, Ezio has such a hard on for revenge, he's probably go after the grim reaper. I'm a little dissapointed that they sort of rule out the Japanese setting for future titles, although, Corey does seem to suggest that he's got a plan that could fit that. I don't think the problem would be too big, set it towards the end of the Edo / Meiji Period, and set it in a part of the country that isn't normally used. They also tore down the idea of setting it across multiple generations. But i think the idea of going across 5 generations is a bit excessive. Tell a Father / Son story, don't have to tell it linearly, use some BS like the Decendant loosing sink with his Ancestor because of the childs strong faith/parallel with they're parent.

It'd be interesting if they covered a Subject 15 scenario (the memory of the fetus' father is interfering with the mothers ability to use the animus)
That could be very Inception-ious
I'm glad that they ruled out WWII. As fascinating as killing Hitler would be, its just an over used scenario. I'm beyond happy they chose the American Revolution, and not because of the usual answer of AMERICA FUCK YEAH mentality. They even address that in the video. Its a time period rarely seen in videogames.
I'm glad they chose it because its an evolution of the formula for the past 4 games its running around cities leaping from buildings and killing people who piss you off. Now you're running around the woods to piss you off.
To quote Sean: When something is static, its dead.
I believe if they followed the formula that the series would've been a goner, at least with this new setting its a chance to breath new life into the franchise

Yeah. This game is already sounding massively different to the earlier titles because of these changes. Less about massive cities. Going to be very interesting.

Double Post. Game Informer video about producing AC Most interesting thing I've seen from it so far (barely been playing 2 minutes) is the graphic behind them of Connors. Can clearly see the hidden blade in the image. All the media we've seen so far leans away from it, to the point i was starting to suspect that he might only use the hatchet/tomahawk for his kills. Also, looking at the art released so far, the GI cover by Alex Ross (i think) has what appears to be a older Connor, but his coat is different aswell. Its red, not blue. I might be reading too much into this, but could this be suggestive of a change in allegiance during the game?

broken indeed. There's some a images going around from a french site, depicting what could be (probably isn't) one of the collectors editions. called 'Join or Die', it contains what appears to be a Assassins Emblem necklace and some form of notebook/journal, possibly Benjamin Franklins?

Looks like there will be 4 editions: Standard, Special, Freedom and Join or Die with Freedom being the cream of the crop. Pre-Order PageI am in love with the Join or Die artwork for the box. It's all sketchy and paint-like. ;D 50 Things You Should Know About ACIIIACIII Interview ACIII Demo Impressions I have to try to calm myself because I'm almost hyping it up too much in my mind and it'll never live up to it. AC has risen to be in my top 5 favorite franchises

Normally go for the premium edition, but i'm trying to stay away from statues/figurines. So i'll be going for the freedom or die edition. Glad that necklace wasn't in it. Loving the demo impressions there, pulley system to get down the tree, with a enemy as the counter weight. Running through a building in a chase. also, weapons video
