Seriously isn't anyone else looking forward to this movie?

I know I certainly am. Can't wait for this one to come out as the original Ridley Scott's Alien is possibly my favourite film.
I'm trying my best to stay away from reviews and articles discussing the film as I want to go into the cinema not knowing what's coming. However, this is proving rather difficult as my girlfriend and her dad both enjoy listening to Mark Kermodes' reviews and discussing his opinions on upcoming films. Come to think of it, I best just deafen myself now, wait until it's out on Blu-Ray and watch it with subtitles. That way nothing will be spoiled.

When I first saw this trailer, I had an incling it was Ridley Scott. It has his auteur mark scribbled all over it. Even the trucks look like direct replicas of the ones from Alien. Come to think of it, I best just deafen myself now, wait until it's out on Blu-Ray and watch it with subtitles. That way nothing will be spoiled. Or you could deafen your girlfriend and her dad, that way they can't listen to the radio. Or "accidentally" drop the radio from a ten storey building. Or bound and gag Mark Kermode so he can't do his show, or- Shut up brain.

I am so damn excited. It's released just before my birthday. I love the Alien movies. (I even like the 4th one) The fact it's lacking in Xenomrphs doesn't bother me. It's Ridley Scott in the Alien universe and I am stoked!

An Alien prequel? What's not to like? It's nice to see the Space Jockey and a proto chest burster in the trailer.
Also, on a personal note, I like how they kept the robot naming scheme.
