I´ve been itching to get my hands on this game ever since I saw the trailer.
It sounds so innovative and FUN, plus you get a female lead character (always a plus for me)... it seems exactly like the sort of game I´d play until I wore off my keyboard.
But from folks´comments I´ve seen all over the net, it seems like the game in story mode is painfully short. OTOH, I´ve read contradictory comments saying that it has an almost limitless replay value. So, I am officially puzzled.
Can you help break the tie?

Yeah, the game isn't super long, but it is damn good. I really enjoyed it. The replay value mentioned is in that it features, quite addicting time trials through the maps from the story. And you can use ghost data online and it has a leaderboard system as well.
Being how fun the game is, you'll probably want to try and beat some of the scores online too. I recommend it.

One of me favourite games of last year (First Person Hugging Action for the win!). How much replay value the game has is dependent on the player, and how much they get into the Parkour action. The games story isn't particuly brilliant, and it is pretty short, maybe about 6 hours first time threw, can be longer depending on how difficult you find the platforming or combat. I've been finding myself putting the disk in every few days and trying to better my scores on the Time Trials and Speed Runs. It can get pretty exciting besting yout last run by even a 1/10 of a second. Recomended that you don't try against the online leaderboards too early on, since the leaderboards tend to already know the fastest root to the checkpoints.
There should be Downloadable Content out in the next week or so, adding some new maps for Timetrial runs. So theres some additional excitment there. So theres potential for more fun.
I love the game, so i might be a bit biased. Really excited for the alleged sequel (like all games these days, the developers stated at one point they saw the series as a triogy, the first two being Faiths story and the third being seperate. I've been dreaming up story based ideas for it since i finished it for the first time.

I thought it was fun, but not as fun as I thought it looked. Not to play devil's advocate or anything, but it was o.k. Yeah it's kinda short. It's fun as hell to run from dudes blasting at you. Kinda Matrix rooftops style. Personally I didn't find it fun enough to warrant replay, but I should note that I haven't been gaming much and don't have a lot of time for it.

I tried it on a friend's PC. And I LOVE it. Just don't play without a gamepad, it sucks on keyboard.
The thing is, the story mode is just tossed in for the sake of it, the real game is in the time trial and race modes. The levels are huuuuge, and there's at least 4 ways you can beat each one. And it's really cool, with all the timed jumps, crazy acrobatics, very stylish techy and clean look... You can even disable the in-game help system (the game makes objects you can use to get further ahead red by default) to make the experience hard and realistic as possible.
And DLC s'good.

I just got a copy at Circuit City (40% off for their Going Out Of Business sale). It took some time to master all the climbity-jumpity-fighty mechanics, but it's really fun. Some parts really get the pulse racing.

this game got a real bad rep form most videogame media, usually a 60%-ish score but the gameplay was fluid and inviting, the art design was beautiful, the only gripe i had was the total lack of pedestrians of any sort in this "bustling metropolis"
