No updates. So far I don't think anything is going to come of this.
The police speculated that he may have reached for his pocket in an attempt to make us think/assume that he was armed, hoping we'd back away and give him a chance to escape. This is plausible. I don't know if it was the case, but I really can't think of another reason why he would have done this. Unless he thought he actually WAS armed, and didn't end up having anything on him.

(I'm 5'3", very short for a male.) I'll point out that Wolverine is 5'3 The kicker is here, the LP man for this outlet store is actually a part time police officer. If something does come of this, that will help you out a lot. But... No updates. So far I don't think anything is going to come of this. ...perhaps the thug is unwilling to make anything of this, because he doesn't want to admit he got his ass handed to him by someone he had roughly 18 inches on.

Lol, yeah I know very well that Wolverine is 5'3". I know this because one I love the character and two...it makes me feel a little better about being so short. Still yet though, I've actually never lost a fight, despite being in more than I can honestly recall.
Yeah, my wife was the first to bring up the idea that the LP being a part-time police officer would help me a lot if something went down.
Nothing has come of this still, I got a feeling nothing will. HOWEVER... I had to tackle a guy about two weeks after this first event. It wasn't quite as violent as the first guy, but I tackled him and had him in a choke hold while my fellow officer cuffed him and called the police. This time my boss was actually right there, and he didn't say anything. So I'm not even worried about this one.
One of the officers was called regarding a man acting strangely, scaring some customers. Another officer joined him, and then I decided to come downstairs myself. The guy punched one of the officers in the chest, not really a hard punch, but still, we took action. Turned out he was just recently released from the state mental ward... We're lucky he didn't try to do more. He apologized in the end though, which I found kind of strange actually.
All this crap's happening at once. I rarely ever have to get physical at my job. Must be the holiday seasonal business or something.

Grrr, my roommate decided to quit his job after a week because his alarm didn't go off. His job starts at like 8am or something.
But really? Cause you don't like getting up in the morning, that's your excuse? He didn't try calling or anything. He just let the second bus come and go, instead of getting his ass to his job.
Then he claimed he was gonna just go apply to afternoon jobs. That apparently meant to apply to one job online and play League of Legends all day. He's probably gonna sit on his ass for the rest of the month.
Now he's probably gonna sleep all day and expect me to feed his ass. Screw that, I'm gonna make the little shit starve! I also have to clean up after him constantly.
What the shit is that.

It shouldn't fall solely on you to front the bills in such an arrangement.

He might get his ass booted. I have no idea.
The sh*thead kid is like a little brother. I'm also about to kick his ass like a little brother if he doesn't get it together.
I also live with his brother too and he's quite responsible. I'll probably have a talk with him. He's gonna be pretty damn pissed if he doesn't have a job and he's just pissing around.
Problem is, he's planning on moving out, so I'm gonna be stuck with him too. I just moved here a couple months ago and I don't really know anyone here. Getting a trusted roommate would be rather difficult.
It's a really dumb, unnecessary circumstance. He probably thinks his brother will just bail him out for the millionth time again. Which I doubt will happen. Who knows, maybe when we go back home, we'll just leave the sh*thead there.
He's an awesome dude, but as a roommate I'm pretty fed up~

One of my dogs had to be put down today.
Bear the dog, a rottweiler mix, is going to have to be put down today. He's been having hip problems for a while now, and its finally to the point where he basically can't walk. He's an old dog, about 5 years older then a typical rottweiler, so this isn't too surprising. A vet made a house call and did the dead a little over half an hour ago.
Oddly, I've been expecting this for a while. I wasn't expecting him to make it to December, so I'm surprisingly okay with it. My parents, particularly my mother, are a mess.

I'm in almost the exact same position. My dog is 17 years old and is having a lot of problems with walking and balance now. She's still able to walk once she got some exercise in her legs but it's still not certain and I'm having to lift her off the floor a lot. She is very close to the end now but because she is able to still go the toilet and is still alert and determined I'm going to keep going. But frankly it could be anyday now where her legs won't work at all. So yes I can understand excatly how you and your family feel. It's heartbreaking no matter what.

My university project deadline was due in yesterday, I spent two nights without any sleep and barely ate anythng just to get it finished but then in the final hours when it came to putting the finished work onto disc the stupid compressor program woulden't compress and by the time I had it sorted out and put on disc the university was closing for the night and I missed the deadline.
I hope they will allow me to hand it on first thing on monday otherwise I think I've just failed the final year of this four year course, which woulden't be fair because I've finished the actual project on time! It's just i coulden't get it on disc

Round of apologies on me about my prolonged absence, I'm busy interviewing for PhD programs for musicology! I'm actually at the airport right now waiting for my delayed flight back to Houston. Hope everything here has been going okay, did I miss anything?
