Next month I'm gonna ask my girlfriend to marry me. I just bought the engagement ring a few days ago. They had to order it in her size of course, but should be in within the week. I'm very excited. GOOD LUCK! I hope she says yes.

Then no one can take our giant shade! We stamped our name on his manly ass when he wasn't looking! Oh God, a third guy has entered into the fray. Someone save me from the amassing gays after my ass on the 'Tagged' site!

So the girlie and I both had off work this past Monday and I kept getting this feeling like the time was right, despite my original plan. We went to my apartment to do some spring cleaning and I told Sara before we started, to open a desk drawer and get something I'd need. She opens it and the ring box is in there, open and facing out. She stares for a moment, then turns back to me and I'm down on one knee saying "Sara [full name], will you marry me?" She said yes.

Congratulations!

Since when did spammers become so evil?
I mean they have always been annoying, but at least alot of them are just crappy adverts or promotions. Nothing insidious there. Some are downright scams but only the really stupid fool into those....
....But then there are those that go beyound that, Those that find information on you and pull your personal heartstrings to trick you.
Like those that hacked into unused E-mail accounts, sending me E-mail under the guise of long lost freinds. I was hurt when I got an E-mail from a freind I had lost touch with, only to find it was spam. The fuckers even had the cheek to sign it with her name at the end.
One have been going to my blog on a daily basis, week after week so the hits would show up. Tottally fell for that one. I genuinely thought people were liking my work until I discovered almost all the hits came from the same place, a background check showed it was just a site that spams the hit rate on people's blogs on the hopes of getting attention
seriously the people who do that sort of thing should be sent to a particular foggy town, drawn in by an E-mail of course as Poetic justice

I'm really sorry to hear that Blackdog. I love my dog, and I know how attatched you can get to them. I hope you're doing better. Thank you. It actually hit me harder then I thought so my comeback was not as swift as I wanted. Still hurts a lot but I'm a bit more inc ontrol of my emotions now.

Been quiet again, I know. Been super busy, I'm just finishing my second master's. Thesis is finally done, course work and comprehensive exams are done. Grading is ...almost done.
I got accepted with a full ride into the University of Illinois, which has a very good musicology reputation. It's very exciting, but I'm going to have to move again ...and just when I got the hang of salsa dancing. Won't be usin' that in the mid-west.

Haven't posted here before so here goes. Ummm ....
Well, I recently (about two months ago) got another dog (already have an elderly pooch of 15 years originally) and they are the most loudest of things when I come back from my night shifts. They both just let their throats out for a good ten minutes every time they see me after a break longer than several hours. It's flattering but also a little irritating, especially after a shift of no night sleep. Anyone have experience in introducing a new dog to a household that already has an elderly dog? Any tricks to make them get along? Mine bicker all the time. Well, mostly my elderly one does, he does not like the ruckus the young one makes all the time.
