don't know how many people know this, but I just found out. For some reason the twats over at Nintendo decided not to release fatal frame 4 for the Wii outside of Japan. Tecmo shoulden't of trusted them with the publishing rights in the bloody first place.

Yeah, I've also known this for a bit. But all the same, I've heard from initial impression that the game was kinda lousy anyway. This may be why Nintendo decided not to branch out further with it's releasing.

*sadpuppyface*
But also, there is an unofficial english translation project, or so I've heard. It would require homebrew and an SD card, I believe.

Bleh that sucks. Never planned on buying a Wii though. They should port it to PS3 and 360 and send it over here. I'd love to play it.
However, I need to finish the first three.... despite owning each since they came out (don't get me started as to why....).

From what I understand Samus is an unlockable. I doubt it'll go to the PS3/360

oh that's so old new about fatal frame I dunno WHY they won't release it. We're getting something for DSi as far as I know.. that's very similar to the Fatal Fame for the phone. That should be fun. But ... I really want Fatal Frame 4. I'll see if I can get some sort of mod for it. Maybe it won't be as intense if I have no idea what's going on though.. oh well. I'd atleast have it. I'll have my friend who speaks Japanese translate what they say xDDDDD

From what I understand Samus is an unlockable. I doubt it'll go to the PS3/360 i believe there was a luigi costume aswell. From some of the impressions i read, the game was pretty "Broken/Buggy" on release in Japan. Though, of course, those things could of fixed when they were doing the translation and convertions.

Oh, the pain!!! might as well slit my wrists with a chocochip cookie!! I was about to scream at you not to do it when I realized that you could be meaning that they might as well have been slitting your wrists with a chocochip cookie. Anyway, though I've never before played a Fatal Frame game, I've been very interested in the series in quite a while and it's a shame that the game isn't coming over here. For Shattered Memories, Dragon Quest X, and others, I will probably be getting a Wii eventually (and eventually could mean quite a while).

*shrugs* No big loss. From what I heard through the grapevine, this one simply wasn't very good.

If it wasn't a good game, then no loss. I was looking forward to it as well, however... I don't own a wii, but my grandma does. Suppose she wouldn't have approved of the violence anyway.

a homebrew translation of the game has been released. You'll need a copy of the game, a SD card and a Wii (any region) to play it.
