Yeah, I read this a few days ago.
I dunno, most MMO's I've seen have very generic EVERYTHING. Animation, music, graphics, etc.
Plus, I prefer solo gaming but Borderlands has warmed me up to the idea that playing with humans is a bad thing. As long as there are no mics.
I wish they had some screens or plot details

Sorry, I meant to say: Plus, I prefer solo gaming but Borderlands has warmed me up to the idea that playing with humans is not a bad thing. As long as there are no mics. Me tired @pac I forgot about subscription fees. Should only have to pay once for a game...

I'll post the link in a bit but G4 interviewed the head honcho of the studio.
The kicker?
Don't expect the game for two more years.
I hate it when they announce a game this early

Well, while I don't actually like subscription fees, I can completely understand them after having played MANY MMOs officially and unofficially. There's a LOT of work that goes into properly maintaining a server, especially when it has thousands or millions of players on it on a regular basis. Keeping things running smoothly, keeping the queue times low and keeping bugs and glitches out of the game. Along with keeping cheating to a bare minimum.
Besides the way I see it, you're getting your game regularly upgraded, new dungeons/levels, new equipment and content, and you're not paying for all that. Instead you're paying for a monthly fee. Consider it that you're paying for maintenance and constant upgrading and DLC.
That said however, I am a longtime WoW subscriber. I don't mind at all to pay for WoW monthly, and I play the hell out of the game so I really get my moneys worth out of the game. BUT I can't afford to pay for two games a month, meaning unless this ends up being free... I probably won't be playing it.
