^ PS3. Doesn't break as much. I don't care about shooters or online. I like Ratchet and Clank.
< I'm getting my friends to read Sundome. I like it when my friends like my stuff, such as Silent Hill and Persona. Makes up for no one I knew liking Digimon when I was little.

^ This generation of consoles, Sony. The PS3 offers an amazing amount of potential for gaming, especially online gaming. My favorite console ever released though is the SNES followed closely by the Sega Dreamcast.
< I've found a new found love, bordering on obsession with a new sub-genre of metal music. Folk Metal. Equilibrium really introduced me into liking the genre, their first album is AMAZING. Beyond them the only bits I'd ever really heard came from Fintroll, whom is ok, but never really grabbed me. Black Metal-esque vocals with near Power Metal like melodies and structuring combines two of my favorite things in metal. There's such a..."happy" sound to folk metal too, hard to describe really. A lot of it sounds like music vikings would drink and celebrate to. (Example: Equilibrium - Met (Mead), appropriately enough, a drinking song.)
V Has a diverse taste in music, or at least is really passionate about their favorite genre.

^ I'm certainly passionate about my metal but I don't consider screaming at the top of your lungs for five minutes metal ... just retarded. I need to understand what is being sung to appreciate it although there are a few exceptions where the screaming doesn't bother me for the melody just makes me want to explode.
< Am retracting my previous statement about not having sleeping issues. After starting my new job and working a handful of 24 hour shifts I have definitely begun to confuse night with day even on my free time. Still, I rather enjoy not having to work five days in a row. And my mistress seems far more content with it than I originally thought too so it's all good.

^ Nah, I think it'll be contained. Japan isn't a poor or unintelligent, simple culture.
< I listen to a lot of different music, some of it (Like what I posted above) not even in English. So not fully understanding lyrics doesn't bother me. Equilibrium's vocals are in German, as are a few other bands I listen to. I also listen to at least two bands in Finnish, and a few in Swedish. A few in Japanese as well. To me it's just so much more about the music and the signatures used within. In fact, I listen to several purely instrumental metal bands as well.
V Doesn't consider language barrier in music a problem.

^ The fact of the matter is that the majourty of songs speak much but actually say very little. But that's okay, because the human voice in song is an instrument, so as long as the perfromer can actually sing everything fine. Only fools get tied into meaning where it's mostly absent. Songs are music, not poetry.
< I am studying animation and while I see the value of lectors, having to write an 10,000 word essay seems pointless, because when I become an animator, no employer is going to ask me to write 10,000 words on something when I could be animating their projects.
V Thinks having to write essays in an discipline that leads to an career where it's unlikely you will have to write anything, is utterly pointless?

^ Yes, I didn't used to care whether work was pointless at all. I just did all of it regardless, I simply assumed I had to. Then I got friends, saw how pointless work was, and ... well, now I'm probably not going to graduate. Which proves that ignorance is intelligence.
< Most of my favorite songs could be written as poetry and still sound good, which is what I love about them. I do think of the voice as an instrument, but that's my argument for too much music focusing too much on vocals. I feel like half of music made and put on radios should have no vocals, especially if they're just going to say the same old crap anyway. My favorite bands are The Decemberists and Yes, for their poetic lyrics, and I also love lots of background music in games and tv shows and movies, because what a lot of people today, especially people my age, can't understand is that music can have meaning without words. To say otherwise would be to say that a painting has no meaning without words.

< When someone says something awkward to me, I say something MORE awkward. I rarely lose, I have a very awkward perverted mind, I'll talk about all sorts of horrible things. (It helped me write all those things characters wouldn't say jokes, though I don't do them as often know cause I feel like my humor's gone stale.)

^ (Potato chips?) Estrella ... no ... it's not mexican XD, Lithuanian
< I am so fucking sick of this "spring" that it's not even funny. Usually we have around +10-18 C around this time of the year but this year all we get is rain, wind and fucking barely above zero temperatures. I've got a cold because of this shitty weather ... I so hate this spring >_<
V Loves watching rain from the comfort of sitting under a roof?

^ Very much so. I also like hearing the rain while I fall asleep or play video games. Probably while reading too except I don't read nearly as often as I should.
< I'm happy for Spring. Everyone's getting colds but me and my friends went to the park yesterday and for the first time and now after all the rain and freak snow incidents it finally felt like Winter was over. It takes longer to end every year. :/
V What's your least favorite season? (I think I already asked favorite, I don't have a favorite, the only one I hate is Winter, the rest are all my favorites)

^ Winter and Summer tie in pretty easily for my most disliked season. Summer burnses usss, and winter keeps me from hiking out into the non-existant wilds.
< Not that that Spring's been that great, so far. I know we're just getting out of Winter, but it's been all cold and rainy over here. For every nice day, we have five annoying ones.
V I don't suppose you'd know how we could keep the seasons to just Spring and Autumn?

^ It would have to be Assassin's Creed. Although without a console or power, there wouldn't be much point
< Wondering if we shouldn't make this the Silent Hill/Assassin's Creed forum
V Actually would prefer not to know what nog is eating
