^ Glad you care so much, didn't know we had something special.
< Has a secret obsession with candles. They make a great atmosphere, and some smell absolutely fantastic. I'm also not a fan of bright, artificial light AT ALL, so candles are a great alternative.
V Has eaten a Fig Newton in the past year or so.

^ Probably, ironically my mom recently brought them up and now I want some
< Isn't eating anything, my mom hasn't gone to the store yet, it's your lucky day alx. On another note, I don't like much where gaming is headed (17 and I already sound like an old man sometimes), so I want to explore a happy part of gamings past that I missed. I'm planning on buying a Nintendo 64.
V Mario, Sonic, Zelda, or Metroid for favorite?

^ Tough call. Probably Mario. Certainly not Sonic. (Btw, do yourself a favor, skip the N64 and for back a step to the SNES or up a step to the Sega Dreamcast. Best systems ever made.)
< Is actually quite content with the modern state of video games. Nostalgia is nostalgia, but paving the way forward is the future. It's not the graphics, they're pretty to look at, and I can appreciate them, but I could also do without them. It's in making things possible that just weren't in past generations. As an example, a game like L.A. Noire wouldn't have been possible on the PS1. The facial recognition technology MAKES the game. Having to actually read faces to determine truth in a statement being told to you, wouldn't work in the past.
JRPGs got left in the past, that's the only genre that I feel truly needs to embrace and harken back to the old glory days of the 16-32 bit. It's also a solitary genre and therefore has little to no need for online integration. (Even though White Knight Chronicles proved it could work, well in fact.) Just my opinion, but it holds some weight. I've been in this hobby for seriously 22+ years now, without a break, ever. I'm no old man, though I sometimes feel that way at 27, but I've seen almost everything video games have had to offer.
V Prefers DC over Marvel.

Nothing personal man, I just don't care what you are eating. In fact, I can't wrap my head around why you'd want to publish that kinda info... Isn't eating anything, my mom hasn't gone to the store yet, it's your lucky day alx Okay, time in

^ Hmm, probably Marvel, since I care a bit more about Spider-Man than Batman, and know absolutely nothing about Superman
< I'm sure I'll be getting an SNES at some point, I know there are lots of great games on it, a N64 just sounds more like what I want right now, plus I've never played a 3D Zelda and people always seem so shocked because I'm the only one who grew up with a ps1 and spyro and twisted metal and silent hill instead of mario and zelda. As for the Dreamcast, I looked on Metacritic and not many of the games looked that interesting, just Skies of Arcadia really. Anyway, 3D platformers are my favorite game genre. New systems don't have em, N64 had a lot, so that's where I'm going. Can't live on RPGs alone I'm afraid, not even Etrian Odyssey II.
V Sight, smell, hearing, taste, or touch? Yah, favorite sense, sounds pretty bottom of the barrel, but I find it interesting. Mine is touch. My friend told me that the way my fingerprint is indicates that I'm more senstive to touch than most people. It's the most important to me, and the one I would most hate losing, even if I would miss sight an awful lot. Hearing causes me just as much annoyance as happiness. Without taste, I would just eat healthy stuff all the time. And smell does hardly anything for me good or bad. So, yours?

^ What do you mean by touch though? Feeling stuff only? Or does feeling physical pain count towards touch too? If so then I'd throw that one out the window right away. Smell can go to hell too. Taste ... as in tasting sweet and sour or not being able to tell the difference between a drop of concentrated lemon and a sugarcane? If the later then it can go to hell too. It's a tough call between hearing and sight ... can't decide
< Watching the E3 conferences now and I'm so glad I'm free from work to view them all ... I'm a geek when it comes to games and E3 is my "grab a beer, chill the fuck out" time
V Is taking some time off from work to dry-cook at home instead of work?

^ Just got done with a pretty grueling 8 day work week. Enjoying my time off with some Street Fighter and sleep. Hadn't slept well in any of those 8 days previously.
< Is multitasking. Has this up, a Street Fighter guide in another tab, and porn in another, with the tv on in the background, occasionally listening/watching it.
V Enjoying watching thunderstorms.

^ It's dry now, but in general yes. Just hate being in them, or in rain period. Water just ain't my element, and I hate being wet. I take about as long to dry off after a bath as I do to take that bath.
< My best friend's coming over today and is going to try to get the true ending of Persona 4. I stepped out when he got the normal ending because, not having beaten the game, I didn't feel like I deserved to see it. I may watch the true ending though.
V Favorite store to buy games? Mines Hastings, but there are some older things I can't get there, so I use smaller stores and the internet.

^ Gamestop in general, because I used to work there, and know all the guys and gals there well, they hook me up with promos still and save stuff for me as well.
< Is absolutely thrilled that a Tifa Lockhart avatar came on the PSN today... My absolute favorite video game female ever.
V Considers Roast Beef to be the best or at least one of the best Ramen flavors, like me.

^ Back when I had no choice but to eat ramen nonestop EVER BLASTED DAY, yes, roast beef was choice. I'd put barbecue sauce on it, too. Now that I think about it, that was a lot of salt going into my system. I think I'm out a few years of life thanks to that. < Fortunately, the older I get, the healthier I seem to become. I'm hoping I can keep that up and not end up as a lumbering wall of cancer. V What would it take for you to become a real-life superhero or supervillain?

^ Not much. A Freak accident to gain powers, or even just enough money to create the technology to do it. I have a HUGE interest in vigilante justice, because there are so many scumbags in the world, and I grew up around a lot of them in my old neighborhood. I'd love to cripple them and ruin the rest of their lives. If I had the power, I'd be doing it now.
< Has thought about the above question constantly, and also constantly thought of what it would take to be able to get it done and survive without super powers. I've also written about it many times, it's one of my favorite themes, vigilante justice.
V Dreads going to work tomorrow.

^ You have now given my life renewed meaning. I shall start at once. < Is having way too much trouble finding a newer shinier job to replace the current, crappier one. V Any recommendations on how to find work in space ?

^ I read that space shuttles are becoming privatized. So I suppose you become a flight attendent. Womanize them all, no one can hear them scream.... (That was in bad taste wasn't it? ) < Trouble getting psyched to continue my current story despite its utter genius. v Will find a way to get Team Four Star to do an abridged series of Big O.
