I thought I'd break in the CG section with this humble offering, which might also double as a desktop, if one were so inclined Fans of Nine Castes may recognize the St. Notional's Cathedral (with a much improved stained glass window) background Anyone know where to find Tarot Card? It simply isn't an art discussion without him...

Awesome work. The stained glass windows look really nice, and I'm really liking that blue/green hue going on to the right side of Julietta. The lighting on her dress is also well done.
Nice one.

It loaded really slow for me so for a while I though she was naked, then I saw the pretty dress. Love the window, but t be honest I don't like her expression, I don't know why. Just thought I'd through that out.

@melty: Good to see you again... Here's another example of my background technique- the stained glass effect is all post
@phv: Thanks for being honest. Please let me know if you can figure out what about her face doesn't work for you

Ah, yes the cathedral, it is familiar, yet somehow terrifying at the same time XD
Jokes aside, nice work, the dress and the windows in particular have awesome detail.

@nina: The location will be more meaningful to you than most. On the other hand, you made it much further than most so you should feel good about yourself
And yes, the windows do look much better this time around. I didn't have time to really figure out stained glass last time
What kind of fabric do you think the dress is made of?

Thanks alx, and at first look the dress looks to be satin and lace, but it's appearance is a little dull? I'm guessing velvet and lace? Or I could be completely wrong on both....

It was meant to be satin, but an interesting mistake gave it that radical texture... I have no idea what type of fabric it might indicate but I like the way it looks
The reason I asked was so if anyone knows the type of fabric it resembles, then I will pretend that was the look I was going for

Really exquisity work here, especially the details in the dress and windows.
So, Alx... is it my impression or you have a tendency to make your heroines.... erhmmm.. well endowed? ;D

Sunset, you made Vio's day. If you check my website, you'll see that I do have a larger range of breast sizes but when I do game design then busty is the only way to go (did anyone catch my subject pun?) look at Tifa or Lara... Okay fine, I admit it- I have a breast fetish! Are you happy now, Vio? I am a broken man
