www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2011/05/27/sony-still-unclear-on-extent-of-security-breakdown-in-latest-letter-to-congress.aspxHaven't heard any news about PSN people getting charged in their name yet so maybe that was not the the point of the attack *cough* Oh and Blacky, just because I have an x360 sig it doesn't make me a fanboy. Sony squeezed the shit out of that one guy who published the root key and for what? Because he's smarter than Sony's PS3 programmers? They should have paid him money for this and recruited him to their security team instead (under a confidentiality contract of course). And getting personal info of every single person that even stumbled upon that ps3 jailbreaking website? Bull ... shit. That's childish and ignorant thinking, honestly. They squeezed the bastard because he jailbroke the PS3 and then PUBLICLY distributed the information. That's more than illegal, it's honest to goodness cyber terrorism. I hold ZERO sympathy to the guy. If he'd broke it and minded his own business, oh well, more power to him. But then releasing the information to anyone willing to look for it, that's shit man. He deserved reprimand. And then this is how you think Sony should be punished? By fucking all of us innocent consumers over in their name? Seriously man, this isn't justice.

Well they were going to be caught at some point, after the shit they caused it wasn't like Sony or the FBI was just going to give up. As I said before these guys lacked foresight and prouberly seen too many cyber-thriller films if they really thought they could get away with their crimes

They also tried to hack Nintendo of America's site (And failed), and I think that might have been the last straw.

Hacking attacks in general have been pretty prevalent this year, and not just for video game companies. On a different note, I can't settle on what game to chose for my second pick for a PSP freebie. I took LBP as my first, cuz that's a no brainer, but I'm quite split between Killzone: Liberation and Pursuit Force. I've played a demo for Killzone, and it feels solid, but the pace (at least in the demo was a bit slow), sort of a less awesome Neo Contra. I've seen video reviews for Pursuit Force, and it doesn't look as polished as Killzone, but it does look like a lot of over the top fun.
