doubt post! AC3 to feature more Desmond, More Present Day, then in previous games. Should please/annoy some people. I personally really enjoyed the desmond sections in the past games, but i don't think they've ever really gotten it right. Closest thing to it was probably Brotherhood. I'm guessing though it'll play more like AC2, where the desmond sections are forcing you out of the animus to do something specific, then AC:B letting you get out of the animus and run around a small area.

I imagine it'll be like ACII as well. Also I would imagine that it would be normal seeing as Desmond is no longer in a coma. Although I did like the first person Desmond sequences in ACR. Apparently demo footage is supposed to come out of Pax East this week so that'll be neat. Also, fun fact, the PS3 version is no longer listed on Amazon. For America anyway

Just checked that myself, the only version i could see was the PC release listed (both digital copy and physical), Curious. I've got mine pre-ordered, Freedom or Die edition. Should be neat-o. Edit: Scratch that, seems you only get the PS3 version if you search Assassins Creed III, not Assassins Creed 3. I didn't really care too much for the First Person Sequences, mainly because the character didn't really feel like they had any weight in the environment. I prefer a first person sequence to be done like in mirrors edge, that you can see your limbs when playing. I know not many games do it, but it helps to ground the scene. Though i suspect that was done on purpose. Look forward to seeing the gameplay footage. If Des is going to be a more prominent figure in the gameplay now, maybe they'll show some preview's of his stages. edit: Creative Direction, Alex Hutchinson, says that the Internets idea's for game locations, are stupid for a AC game. Apparently the most frequently requested locations are WW2 (Outside of reading a article once, saying a AC game was in development with a female assassin in WW2, I've never heard anyone say that), Japan and Egypt. Japan is understandable, I don't know much about history, but i'm pretty sure the same people would go for one set in china during the same time period. Although, Corey May, one of the lead writers for the series, has said he has a idea of how to do it. Egypt, i'm surprised about, don't know how that would play into it.

So, for the official launch of the game play trailer, Ubisoft wants you to go to they're facebook page, and spread the word about the 'gameplay trailer un-lock' that requires 1,776,000 shares before they launch the trailer. Ass-hats. I will admit, the teaser they show for it looks good, shows off the hidden blade, and the new altercations to it.

I do like how the hidden blade is detachable....or at least has a hinge so you can get all stabby stabby with your hand.

I'm guessing its done so that the hidden blade is the knife he uses do get animal pelts, as thats said to be in the game. If thats the case, i suspect it should be detachable, but the hinge looks cooler. (Can't believe i typed Altercation instead of Alteration.) I'm surprised the trailer hasn't unlocked yet, in fact, it doesn't look like it moved in the last 7 hours or so. mistake on Ubisofts part?

It's 3/4th of the way through now, but yeah, I hate these community events.
They did it for Brotherhood and Revelations too. Get 500,000 community kills and we'll give you 3 new maps!
Fine in theory, but, annoying, as is all advertising.

And its unlocked. Don't really know what to say about it, it looks like a assassins creed game. Suppose its good to see Connor in action how we will see him play when we are in control.

I love the combos; they're just brutal. The one where he cracks some dude in the face with his own gun and then runs him through with the bayonet, I'm sure that one will end with him pulling the trigger.
I also like towards the end how he kills three people and never stops.
For pre-alpha, its pretty impressive, no doubt it'll be even better, graphics wise, once it ships.
Hopefully Connor's hood isn't glued to his scalp like Altair's and Ezio's in ACII

Alright, so words coming out about the Vita Assassins Creed 3 title, and it's not staring Conner, but a French/African Assassin Aveline, and its being set during the French/Indian war in New Orleans and the Golf of Mexico. From the image thats been released, we can see knives, guns and even what seems to be a whip. Sounds like its going to be better then the other AC portable titles, and like Bloodlines on the PSP before it, like it could be Cannon. Image one, image 2

I'm kinda both digging and annoyed that she doesn't have a hood. The hat seems to have the 'beak' that the hood normally provides, but i'd kinda hope the character has another costume. I can understand why it is though, they're trying to make a point of the female PC, and under a hood, you could easily forget, but you have a slender neck, and a platted ponytail give's you a more feminine figure. The jacket has the parted tail too, so she still looks like a assassin. Something i forgot to mention that i read, is apparently they're trying to look into the grey area of the battle between assassins and the templars. It's been mentioned about 3 aswell, things aren't going to be so black and white.

Glad we finally get to see a female Assassin. Shame it's on the Vita, though.
I agree about the hood, its kina iconic

Fontier GameplayE3 TrailerAt Sony's conference they also showed off a level in the Caribbean where Connor commands a ship. It's a massive open level with sea battle. So you're not only an Assassin, you're also a pirate ;D Now if only they'd announce a CE for North America. I'd take the Join or Die that Europe is getting. It's odd that they haven't announced them yet

and the trailer for Liberation. The character art seems to 'shimmer' between a more elegant/refined look for the character briefly. That footage for III looks great though, connor seems very soft spoken, i was expecting someone a bit gruffer. It looks hectic, but manageable. Wonder how they're going to explain the changes in the Animus, what version should we be on now? 3.0 or 4.0? I though i saw something the other day about the NA CE, it came with the White encyclopedia and the complete graphic novels, but that might have been a ubiworkshop exclusive.
