It was alright. Glad it was free. Hopefully the further DLC offers more

While it was short, I wouldn't have expected a lot more for five dollars. I thought it was amazingly tense and exactly the type of shit I like to write about, and read about.

They could release some good mini mysteries involving Jayden and his Ari unit as DLC. Finding Clues at a Crime scene, Analysing the Evidence. Put time constraints on obtaining certain evidence (contamination/destruction) and you could have some real fun and replay ability. The Taxidermist DLC, i enjoyed it. But i'm curious as to if the they'll have the original voice actors back for the rest of the dlc.

I LOVE this game, but it's not without its flaws: This is a love-or-hate game, just like the other games. If you don't like drama and just want guns ablazing, search elsewhere. This is for gamers who like a good story.
My personal opinion of the game is that is a great game, one that I will play multiple times to see the many outcomes, but it's not without it flaws.
Pros:
Loading screens are replaced with such realistic facial close-ups, you could swear they were real people.
Soundtrack is phenomenal and really sets the mood. I don't know who the composer is, but I'll definately be purchasing it. I was worried that because Angelo Badalamenti wasn't on the soundtrack that it would be fail, but boy was I wrong.
Mid Ground:
Engaging story, many moments of suspense and you feel for the characters. However it borrows heavily from other influences.
As with Indigo Prophecy the controls can be as frustrating, but the interaction with objects and fighting controls try to be as faithful to the actual moves as in real life. Of course, the controller can only go so far in doing so.
Cons:
The voices range from very good to awful. Personally, my first time through the game I didn't even notice these things because I was so engaged.
Plot holes and I'm still not sure if the plot twist cheated or not.

I loved Heavy Rain so much...I can't even describe it with words.
Actually I can. HR and Demon's Souls are probably the single best console games I've played this console generation. HR quickly became not only this, but one of my all time favorite games ever. (So did Demon's Souls.)
