Wow, just finished Lost In Nightmares.
Makes me want an oldschool RE game for the HD generation.
There is only one enemy so its pretty desolate but its only about an hour long.
If you want a nostalgia trip examine the front doors from which you enter three times for a fun trip down memory lane ;D

I'm thoroughly impressed with Lost in Nightmares. It's so...different than the main game. It had a certain level of intensity and a few truly frightening moments. I was not expecting it to be that good. I'm really tempted to break out the GameCube now and replay the original Resident Evil.
Did you play Lost in Nightmares by yourself, Vaco Deus? I played with a friend and I can't imagine how difficult that would've been with the AI. We really had to work together for all of that.

The AI seemed to improve I thought. But I didn't really need the other person, the new enemies aren't that tough

Wow, lost in nightmares is pretty good. I think i can actually say there's a best thing about Resident Evil 5 now. He'll i don't even mind playing as Chris here. The new Enemies are a bit dissapoitning, wish they had more of a Nemesis feel to them. Hunting you down, and anything you do to it is only delaying it.

The AI stands at the crank and you have to lure the monster in although I do admit the AI is useless in the Wesker fight

Got back to playing it this morning. I stopped last night when i couldn't think what to do in the basement puzzel. i realise now its nothing difficult. you just need to put the emblem piece in after defeating the first troll thingy. That was frustrating, getting them to follow you under the trap. the last one seemed to loose interest in me too much. i had to go back and get there attention about 4 times. Unimpressed with another Wesker fight. Shooting him from behind doesn't seem to work this time around.

When I played Lost In Nightmares, I was taken straight down Nostalgia Street and almost felt home with my childhood. It was also very different from the main game, which really made it great since I've been longing for gameplay in a Resident Evil game similar to the original series for a long time. The only thing I didn't like was the fight at the end which was kind of annoying but overall I think it's a worthwhile download and addition to RE5. Much better than that Jill/Josh scenario.
