Hmm, I've purchased all of the weapons, even the special ones only available via upgrade, but I didn't get the Stockpile trophy. Did I miss something somehow?

That took me too long to finish. You know what frustrates me about this game, its the context sensative "Kill Move" where you need to be right next to the freakin boss after they've done an area attack to kill them. I probably would have finished this 2 nights ago if i'd realised thats how you end the freakin fight.
But it wasn't just that fight i had troubles with, i got owned in a couple of battles, like the mass Licker attack befor the Jill/Wesker battle, it wasn't untill i took the grenade launcher off of Sheva (who never used it, even when she was out of ammo on everything else) and equiped the acid rounds that i found on the walkway.
my total playtime clocks in at 11:32'48. If it weren't for quicktime events, i think it would have been about 10:01'12, just to be exact you know. I had trouble with the game, but i can't see how reviewers were claming a 15-18 hour campaign (like RE4).
Its interesting looking at the records after the game, the final Boss accounts for 56% of my deaths.
I didn't enjoy the game nearly as much as i did RE4. Chris felt alot slower then Leon. I had difficulties with the controles aswell, but maybe that has something to do with the controler too. I kept hitting the triangle button in the middle of a battle, normaly when you get the QTE to hit Circle and Cross. Also after requesting something from Sheva, i'd often end up giving it straight back to her because i'd acidently hit circle. So some of its my own clumsiness too. I might go back to play it threw with Sheva, and dabble with Merceneries, but i'm not sure i'll even do that.

I think I actually enjoyed it more than RE4.
And I finally got the Stockpile trophy. Apparently it was just delayed.

Sheva had her ammo priveleges revoked almost right away since all she did was waste it, but I've realized that it's not so bad once stocks become more plentiful, and playing the game with a real friend makes a world of difference. Even if we have minor gameplay gripes, it's so much fun to be there with a friend that it doesn't even matter.

RE5 to me was overall more enjoyable on the whole than RE4. I really don't have too much to complain about, game of the year so far for me. Finished it with a buddy online, and we intend to try and go back through to collect the BSAA medallions.

I really liked it. I thought it could have been a little longer, but aside from that I have no complaints.

**SPOILERS AHEAD** **SPOILERS AHEAD** **SPOILERS AHEAD**
I enjoyed the main game (still haven't completed The Mercenaries) it was quite fun, but to me it felt less like Resident Evil 5, and more like Resident Evil 4.5.
There were far too many similarities between the two games, and I was expecting something a bit more 'fresh,' something to expand on the (at the time) unique style and direction of RE4. There were plenty of rehashed enemies, boss battles, and character roles. It felt like most of the good ideas had already been used in RE4 and all they could come up with were slight variants of enemies and events from previous games. RE5 is like a cross between RE4 and RE0, and I hate RE0 with a passion. We even had a variant of the Queen Leech, and the giant bat. And Irving was essentially Salazar from RE4, even when it came to the boss battle.
Overall, I did enjoy the game, and will definitely be giving the story another play through, but even during the first time play it felt like I'd seen and done it all before.
One thing I must admit is that I did absolutely shit myself the first time the clam-like parasite erupted out of one of the tribesmen. Low on ammo, low on health... superfuntimes.

It's coming, it's coming, PC port is coming! Finally I'll be able to play this. I just really HOPE there will be mouse support. C'mon Capcom. There's already a benchmark out, but it's for stereoscopic 3D vision. I didn't even know that existed. Really cool. A pity it needs the right monitor. :/

the demo works without 3D.
I tried it and it looked amazing. Ran pretty decently on my MacBook Pro at all high settings too.

Yeah I tried it out. It looks great. It gets a little under 50fps during the cutscenes but during gameplay is really smooth. ANd it will have mouse support. Yay.

As long as i can play as Jill and not Mini-Hulk Chris in the new Episode, i'm happy. I'm a trollop for DLC, even though i disliked RE5, i love jill. and one of those Sheva costumes are awsome.

Some DLC I can be a trollop for. If I really enjoy the game I'll buy it.
Like for Dead Space I bought that really powerful gun, Tank Suit, Astronaught Suit, Power Weapon Pack and since I preordered at GameStop I got the Scorpion Suit free as well as the PS3 Suit.
I always want longevity out of my games so I'm partial to costumes so thats why I was annoyed Chris and Sheva only had two (and they weren't that great).
I'll also prolly pick up the episodes. Didn't bother with the Survival addition that was obviously on the disk

I just tried playing through a stage in RE5 just now. Since its a second playthrough i'm able to go as Sheva, so theres a slight improvement from the first time round. But i swear, i rarely had trouble with Sheva as my partner, But Chris. Chris needs to learn about personal Space, and that you don't stop in front of someone to reload your gun when there in the middle of lining up a fucking shot. Wish there was a option in the controls aswell to allow you to speed up your turning speed, i've seen people in homes for the elderly move faster then they do.

It still bugs me to this day that Capcom admitted to gimping the controls to make it more scary. Dead Space is how RE5 should handle. An engineer and run and gun but a government trained operative can't? Anywho Playing as Sheva is a nice change of pace. You can access area's normally you couldn't. Granted it's only a handful but its still nice. The second RE5 DLC episode has been revealed. Its called Desperate Escape. Jill and Josh have to escape the Tricell facility and make it to Chris and Sheva at the games final location. Also, it seems all these costumes are for Mercs only. I have no interest in Mercs. I hope the costume packs can be used for the main game or would that kind of logic make the world implode?
