Theres a new trailer out and some new screens. Check them out over at Kotaku. It has Gameplay, and Dialogue! Game looks damn pretty, not so sure about Batmans look though. His face seems kinda old, and the suite seems to be halfway between the Comics and the Film suits. I think someone else brough that up in the original thread. It looked good to me at first, but now it seems weird. Mind you, i'm not a huge batman fan, so my opinion isn't that informed. Looks cool though.

then can i ask you something? Mark Hammills doing the joker again, as we all know, but is it just me, or is his Voice/Take on the character sound very different to how he use to play it? It sounds kinda rought to me. And is it just me, or does the bats look weird with pupils and iris?

Joker does sound a little more gruff, but it works well none the less. But more importantly, Kevin Conroy is voicing Batman...that makes me feel warm and fuzzy.
However, Bat having pupils through his cowl is kinda lame. I could do without that.

Omg... I just orgasmed all over myself. Batman is my favorite superhero, hero, male cartoon and story. I recently got right back into my obsession over batman- and will buy this game in a hear beat.

*VIO throws a towel at P Victim*
I am also drooling over the batman-ness. I actually think the pupils are a great touch, but I think his body has alittle too much muscle bulge and not enough cape, but that's just my personal preference.
I saw KillerCroc, are there any other villian cameos to look forward to?

There's supposed to be a bunch it says there will be other, if not all, of Batman's greatest Foe's. I want him to fight them alllll~ even if it takes the game years to finish xD

New trailer released (shows off stealth gameplay, and the Bats throwing/droping crooks from great hights), theres cover art work out too, and you can Oogle Harley Quinn to see her in game apperance, and heres a hint, its not that similar to how Bruce Timms has drawn her. I downloaded some of the Bruce Timm Batman films over iTunes the other day. Conroy and Hammil were brilliant then, and it looks like Hammil has only improved. this is probably the game i'm most looking forward to this year, right now anyway.

At least the Harley art is good, and fairly accurate. She DID have blond pigtails, so it fits. I myself absolutely ADORE Harley Quinn. She's one of my favorite characters from ANY comic book. And I have repeatedly tried to talk my girlfriend into dressing as her...

Arkham Asylum has nothing to do with Batman. Note that the city of Gotham isn't anywhere near Arkham. Sorry, but this is nothing but a RIPOFF of an otherwise excellent mythos
Okay, I am finished. Please continue

Please continue What do you mean Arkham Asylum has nothing to do with Batman? It's an important building in the mythos, where the criminally insane are kept. The game's plot is similar to the graphic novel Arkham Asylum by Grant Morrison, where the enemies take over the facility and Batman has to go in. I'm not seeing any RIPOFF here (what would that even mean in this context?). Game looks great.

Batman doesn't have a mythos. Howard Phillips Lovecraft never worked for DC. He sure as hell didn't write Batman. He wrote Cthulhu, which is where you'd want to apply the term 'mythos'
Arkham Asylum is where you end up in the HPL stories where you don't die. And it pisses me off that little fanboys don't even know who Lovecraft was, let alone that his mythos is being raped

I am getting more and more interested in this game, especially after seeing more of the sneaky stealthy aspects in action lately. Fingers crossed it shant disappoint. @ alx- Um, Batman does have a mythos, by one of it's very definitions; "The pattern of basic values and attitudes of a people, characteristically transmitted through myths and the arts." it has kept to it's own quite faithfully for decades. As for your dissing of the homage to Lovecraft in the worlds' use of Arkham, i suggest you find yourself a copy of the 1989 book Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth, where the history of the building and it's duty is gorgeously explained and is appropriately disturbing and ungratuitous. Arkham Asylum/Hospital has existed in the Batman world since 1974 and has always been meant as an homage to Lovecraft both in name and in what it symbolises in the Batman world(...or mythoi even), never a ripoff or any kind of pisstake of it. I find your ranting on the subject to be pretty offensive tbh, especially coming from someone who himself appreciates how iconic and far reaching Lovecrafts works were, i would expect that you would, like myself, be more pleased that his influence is being felt by such writers and artists and be glad to see respects paid as they are in this series. I agree though that it is a pain when people don't see the reference at all, but then if everyone on earth who touched a batman comic had also read all of Lovecrafts work then i would be a tad perplexed really, and we could never expect that to be so. Aaaaaanyway yeah, looking good so far save for some painted on vests, and i hope that the Joker is as funky as he was working up to be in the last couple of clips i watched.

Please continue Well, actually Arkham Asylum has been in Batman for a longass time, this isn't it's first appearance. Of course Lovecraft came up with it first, but still it's been in Batman for YEARS too. So it's not like it's a new thing.

Doesn't matter if they stole it last week or thirty years ago, HPL didn't give them permission to use it. But anyway, that's all I have to say about it...
If I come across as offensive it is because I'm offended at how much Lovecraft has been robbed and diminished over the years
