I've been on a movie watching rampage:
All 5 Dirty Harry films, which, in order of quality go: 1,2,3,5,4. They were all enjoyable, though.
The Sergio Leone dollars trilogy: All were amazing, but For a Few Dollars More was my favorite, and perhaps my favorite Spaghetti Western.
Sabata: A spaghetti western starring Lee Van Cleef, lots of fun.
Blood Simple: I liked it, it seemed to forshadow much of the Coen Brothers style later seen in films like No Country for Old Men.
Gran Torino: I liked it quite a lot, as I actually grew up near a Hmong Lutheran community, and was coming down from a spree of Clint Eastwood films.
Aguirre, Wrath of God: Visually amazing film, I can totally see how Coppola was inspired to make Apocalypse, Now.
I've also seen countless Spaghetti Westerns lately, I just love them.

All Quiet on the Western Front- Thought I wasn't going to like this but I've been trying to watch some must see movies and it turned out far more interesting then I expected.
Easy Rider - Probably missed the boat on this one. Was ok but not brilliant but I can see why it's considered a great movie.

Went to see Avengers and enjoyed it waaaay more than expected. Went to see Prometheus and started to wish the cinema would suddenly explode. (Though, it was a kind of decent modern sci-fi done in the semi-plotless style of some of the best cheesy sci-fi movies I loved as a kid, I had just hoped for something...well..*good*. :/ )
@Blackdog - I also didn't see Easy Rider until late in the game and said pretty much the same. Though now that I think about it, I may have to stick it on...XD

Saw Prometheus, I'm pretty indifferent to it. I can't remember sitting all the way through Alien(s) films, i've seen bits and pieces, but normally been called away so i couldn't watch it. It was at a Imax and i have to say if Avatar felt anything like this at Imax, i might have enjoyed it. The film didn't feel frightening at all and that's what i was expecting. Didn't think too much of the characters, and i'd probably have liked it if there was some focus on other characters in the film, the large focus is on Shaw who i didn't find particularly interesting, But David was, and i think Vickers could have been a better character if they spent some more time on her. and the bit at the very end was a waste of time.

Saw Tangled, and my reactions are mixed. Now, I'm probably one of the hugest Disney fans to ever call Silent Hill they're favorite game series, but I've been skeptical about their switch to CG animation. I feel like the CG should've been left to Pixar and Disney should've stuck with handdrawn. After all the good reviews, I was hoping Tangled would change my mind, but I suppose it just wasn't the right one.
For one, it was one of the girliest Disney films. Sometimes this doesn't bother me (like in Cinderella), but sometimes it does. Also, I find that in many CG films the people look weird and that was definetly sometimes the case here. Finally, I didn't enjoy the dramatic stuff towards the end. Somehow, the different elements of the film just didn't fit together for me.
That said, when this film was at its best it was very good. The scene with the dam was exciting and clever, the lanterns scene was very romantic, and I loved how Rapunsel could turn any situation into a song and dance number.
Overall, I loved and hated it. 6/10

Overall, I loved and hated it. 6/10 It's funny you say that, cause the film got delayed and a name change after Disney's last Princess/Hand drawn feature bombed (the under rated Princess and the Frog). I quite liked Tangled, and wish they'ed kept the water color look they originally set out to do for it. I actually really like the Character Design and voice acting in that one too. Been watching Batman Beyond : The Complete Collection. great series, though it's a little inconsistent. I'd love to see the world extended with another movie, or even a game. The Comic's aren't the same, and don't often seem to capture the show's personality.

It's never the shows I expect that I really like. I was expecting to love The X Files, Fringe, Breaking Bad and Six Feet Under and I've found them all pretty meh (except maybe six feet under). However, Star Trek: The Next Generation and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, both of which I wasn't expecting much of, have captivated me.
So anyway, I watched season one of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and am almost through season two. My favorite episodes so far have been Never Kill A Boy On The First Date, Nightmares (almost Noein level quality), and Lie to Me. My least favorites have been Angel, When She Was Bad, and Some Assembly Required. So far I like season one a bit more than season two, but season two is almost twice as long.

Real Steel : Loved the robot bashing but wanted to vomit at the overly sentimental parts.
Escape to Victory: Love this movie. It's a classic. And perfect during the Euro.

Just finished season three of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Damn, felt like it could've been a series finale. I almost want to jump to Angel now for a while. I liked this season better than season two, hard for me to compare it to one. This season had many great episodes, but didn't feel like it had a great overall story until the last fourth.
Here's my top 10 list of the episodes so far:
1. Amends (s3) 2. Nightmares (s1) 3. The Prom (s3) 4. Never Kill a Boy on the First Date (s1) 5. Becoming, Part Two (s2) 6. Lie to Me (s2) 7. Enemies (s3) 8. School Hard (s2) 9. Dead Man's Party (s3) 10. The Harvest (s1)

So, I saw ' The Amazing Spider-man' at Imax 3D. wasn't terribly impressed with the Imax 3D, but i enjoyed the film for the most parts. I'd say its about even with Raimi's first film, not as good as his second, and not as bad as the third. It's main problem is that it feels like its missing things (its been admitted that chunks of the film in relation to the 'untold story' have been removed), and it's only the start. So, come the sequel in 2014 or when ever they release, it might 'improve' this one.

Got a somewhat similar impression. I don't like it as much as the first or third Raimi film (I'm one of the worlds three Spider-Man 3 fans, used to be more but most of the others have killed themselves). I used to love Spider-Man 2 but now it's just ok for me, and I might've enjoyed ASM more than I nowadays enjoy S-M 2. I like the new Peter and Gwen's dad was good, but I didn't really like Gwen or the Lizard. The film felt very serialized somehow, and while it was just ok, I'm very happy about the idea of sequels. That shot of Spider-Man on the edge of the building wearing a backpack felt pretty cool to me.

I wonder how serialized it would have felt if there was more of the 'untold' story in it. I mean, there's still commercials airing that SHOW some of these scenes that are missing, and heavily suggest the storyline that isn't really there. I think this film is really interesting in how it seems to have divided audiences. There are plenty of people that thinks its Good to OK, while others that passionatly hate it and nit pick over details in it.
