from what i hear, the PSP weapons are only worth it if you'r just starting AC2. I rarely used my sword or knifes in the game. Mainly stuck to stealing the guards weapons, and countering with the hidden blade. Think one of the only times i used the sword was near the end of the game, and i lost it. Did the last hour with out it though.
for some reason, i don't expect another 5 hours of content. I'm hoping for something along the lines of another town, or more explorable indoor areas.

Well, I can wish. Lately I've been finishing side missions and poisoning guards and throwing money on the ground so they kill civilians since Ezio can't (even after you beat the game. Lame) I found this video and didn't even think to use that for a weapon

I don't understand why people say Ezio can't kill civillians. I've killed dozens (even pushed one of them singer down a well, well, 3 of them, since they hunt in packs), you just get a message "ezio did not kill suvillians",dosent even effect your sync rate.

You can't kill them in rapid session or you get desynced. Maybe you can do it once you've got 100% sync rate

Kinda disapointed to hear... Killing civilians was so fun in the first game! I would kill dozens and make a corridor or square full of corpses to see how many could the game have in one place.
Good times. XD

Still hoping you'll be getting 5 hours out of each DLC pack? There pretty cheap packs though, and i'd wager you might get your moneys worth out of them. Hope there's another pack in the future. One that dosent just fill in the blanks and moves/closes off the story of Ezio. Him starting off his own codec's, or making a little assassin of his own.

Apparently Fallout 3 spoiled me for what DLC should be

those went for 5 hours? Never played them since i couldn't get into Fallout, but i though i heard people say they only lasted 2. Fire of the Vanaties (or whatever its called) should be alright though. New area's to visit, 10 memories. the memories where never really long in the main game. but if you've got a new area to visit, it could take 2+ hours to do.

On average each Fallout DLC lasted me 4 hours.
That may not seem like much but put in the fact each DLC contained new weapons, armor, AND locations, its well worth the price of admission. And the stuff added obviously wasn't on the disk either.
And that's what kinda chaffs me about ACII's DLC. I mean I LOVE the game but, come on, as soon as Shaun said sequences 11 and 12 were corrupted I knew something was up.
I think DLC can expand a games life as long as its blatant the content wasn't cut or held back
Good DLC Fallout 3 (Operation: Anchorage, The Pitt, Broken Steel, Point Lookout, Mothership Zeta)
Questionable DLC Assassin's Creed II (Battle of Forli, Bonfire of the Vanities) Resident Evil 5 (Survivor Mode/Slayer Mode)
We could have a whole separate thread as to what makes DLC questionable or not but I digress.
Will I get the ACII DLC? Prolly. I mean, both are under $10

Next Assassin's Creed Game To Feature MultiplayerFirst off, my own personal gripe. Why does every game have to have a multiplayer? Granted Modern Warfare 2 just cracked the 1 billion dollar mark and other game companies have $$$$ symbols in their eyes but usually two things can happen: 1 - Single player suffers (short single player campaign) 2 - Multiplayer suffers (tacked on) Plus, there are people, like me, who honestly don't give a rats ass about multiplayer. I'm in it for the single player. I want to have a great memorable experience that won't go away because the servers get shut down or some 11 year old just discovered racial slurs (I'm looking at you ModNation Racers) Borderlands was passable, Uncharted 2 I only played twice (for the trophies). Never played RE5 online. I honestly don't see a point in them but thats my thing. The second interesting fact is that this was in the report for fiscal 2010-2011 year meaning we could see another Assassin's Creed game before March 2011.

I suppose like adding DLC, having Multiplayer is another way to ensure some people hold onto there copies a little while longer befor trading it in. Multiplayer is fine when done right, doubt i'd use it much. Maybe give it a spin once if it is in it. Hopefully its only Co-Op though. For some reason, i can't see a versus match working.

Heh, thats pretty much what i said at another forum. Really, AC co-op could have a few players. a Team of 2 or 3 create a distraction in one place to get guards away from a switch to open a gate, so the 3rd/4th opens the gate with little to no enemies around depending on the number of players attacking at the gate. Or you know, a nice big Stealthy Family. I hope they fix the Notority system a bit more this time. I found it annoying how your notority went up for killing someone when there was no one around to see the kill, or atleast make it go up when the body is found.

Yeah, it really showed how broken it was, for me, in Venice. I'd kill a guard on the roof and I'd get a raise in notoriety.
Nice thing about Venice is 9 times out of 10 you kill a guard on the roofs and gravity takes over and it falls in the water ;D
